Chapter Thirteen

Sunday- 12:34pm- Ahmira

I just got out the shower looking for my makeup brushes when I noticed I left them at august house. I sighed and went to get dressed. I put on a hoodie and jeans and pinned my hair up. I grabbed my keys and went downstairs out the door. I was about to walk to my car when I seen tinted Mercedes. i stopped in my tracks when the window rolled down

"How you doing Miss Ahmira" Big T said from his window

"What are you doing here" I said walking to my car

"Aug wanted me to watch after you and give you these" He said holding a bunch of white roses in his hand. I smiled and got them out of his hands

"Going to augs" he asked. I nodded and got in my car and drove to august house to get my things.

"And you are" a man said at the front gate

"Ahmira" I said. He nodded and opened the gate to let me in. I sighed and got out of my car and knocked on the door waiting for august.

"Wassup ma" he said standing there with no shirt on. I smiled weakly as he stepped to the side and let me in

"I'm here to get my stuff" I said walking straight upstairs. I opened the door and grabbed my duffel bag filling it with all my stuff

"Ahmira" august said standing in the door frame

"What august" I said zipping up my bag and looking over at him. He sighed

"Look I'm sorry about last night. I guess I was jealous and I should've had did that ma" he said looking at me

"So when your mad and jealous you are going to say and do those things all the time" I said looking up at him. "I've been through enough with abuse and you should know that by now" I said trying to walk past him

"I know and that's wasn't right I'm sorry and it won't happen again I promise" he said sticking out his pinky. I looked up at him for a moment then back at his pinky and smiled.

"I can't stand you" I said linking my pinky with his and sealed it with a kiss. He kissed my lips and deepened it

"I have to go" I said stepping back

"Where you going? I thought we could chill today and watch movies " he said holding my hands

"I have to visit my grandmother today" I said looking up at him he nodded

"I'll come with you " he said putting a shirt on

"No you don't have to go august" I said looking at him

"But I want to plus T left and I still haven't figured out who sent them flowers" he said putting on his shoes. I nodded and waited on him to finished getting ready. We made our way to my grandmothers house

"You Ight" august said looking over at me

"Yeah" I said shaking my head and I took a deep breath looking at the house. I felt bad about the blow up but i was angry. August placed a small kiss on my side burn. I smiled over at him as I got out the car. He grabbed my hand and I knocked on the door.

"Come in" she shouted. I walked in taking a whiff of home. It felt good to be back in here but it left a bad taste in my mouth. I sat down as august sat next to me

"Hey granny" I said as looked over at me confused for a second. I swallowed letting her gather her thoughts for a moment

"Ohh my baby I missed you. I haven't seen you in years. Where's my great grand baby?" She asked smiling at me resting her hand in mine. I looked at her hand and cleared my throat
