Me and Dave got up a little earlier than everyone else because he wanted to eat. He was in the kitchen eating while I sat there scrolling on my phone
"You not hungry" he said with about full of food
"No I'm okay" I said drinking my water
"Suit yourself" he said shrugging and continued eating.
"Hey y'all up early " Kenzie said in her pink bathing suit matching mines
"Yeah he wanted to eat before we go jet skiing" I said. My phone started ringing and I answered
"Hey grandma" I said leaving the kitchen
"Hey my baby" she said. I smiled
"How are you doing " I asked as Kenzie took pictures of me

"I'm doing good wishing all these folks will leave" she said. I sighed.
My grandma dementia had gotten worse and since Dave started getting busy going back to the studio and me trying to start my career we really never had time to visit her as we should. So we hired some nurses to come take care of her, especially since we were all the way in Bora bora.
"I know grandma but it's for the better" I said. She sighed
"Well you know august been visiting me" She said. I was shocked
"really" I said smiling
"Yup, baby he looks familiar" she said. I smiled weakly knowing she met him when he was with me but forgot
"I know granny" Isaid softly not wanting to correct her.
" well enjoy yourself" she said
"I will grandma, love you" I said
"I love you too sweetie" she said hanging up. I walked back into the kitchen and seen Chris and Dave talking
"Y'all ready" Kenzie said. They got up and walked out the house
"Where's august " I said whispering in her ear
"They're staying back for a while doing god knows for what" Kenzie said. I nodded rubbing my palms together
We made it to the jet ski and the instructor gave us the dos and the don'ts and what not. I grabbed the swimming vest but Dave stopped me
"You don't need that shorty" he said taking my hand leading me to the jet skis
"Yes I do I can't swim" I said looking at him like he was crazy as he put me on the ski and got in front of me
"I got you" he said before speeding off. I grabbed onto him tight as ever as he laughed at me
"Daveee slow down" I screamed closing my eyes shut. Minutes later I felt we came to a stop.
I peaked one eye open and seen we were on the shore line and he looked back at me and started laughing
