Moon sort of just wandered around aimlessly for most of the day, seemingly not used to having so much time on his hands and having no idea what to do with it, he still seemed to want nothing to do with you, stepping back away if you got within two feet of him and by the time it was nine o'clock at night Moon was sat at the far end of the room with a stack of books beside him "hey Moon, I'm starting to get kind of tired" you said sitting across from him "okay? Then sleep" he replied "what do you want, a lullaby?" He questioned though clearly that question was rhetorical "no, no I was hoping you'd be ready for me to turn the lights back on? Y'know Sun has been with me the past couple nights and I just slept better with him around" you explained "I'm almost certain you slept fine without him before, I'm not done yet" Moon replied without looking up from the book "these are all new books and I have to memorise them so that I can show the kids the pictures and not have to turn the book around 500 times to read it" he explained, "not to mention at this point switching out doesn't sound too nice, for all i know I could end up checking out for a couple more years"  he added "well you're gonna have to switch out eventually, the lights stay on most of the day, and even if you go all buggy again that's what I'm here for" you replied, climbing through the tube in the wall and stretching out across the pile of cushions before grabbing one and hugging it tightly, pressing your face into the soft fabric and closing your eyes, you would wake up several times throughout the night, being entirely restless without Sun there, the lights stayed off until early the next morning when you'd wake up to a sudden weight on top of you, opening your eyes to tiredly squint at the animatronic who was perched above you before he flopped forward onto you, burying his face in the crook of your neck and holding on to you tightly "good morning y/n!!, i missed you, did you sleep okay?" He asked, you giggled quietly as you hugged him back tightly "mornin, I slept alright, kinda missed my cuddle buddy though" you answered, pushing Sun back off of you a bit so that you could actually see him and placing your hands on his cheeks with a soft smile before kissing his nose and sitting up Sun would giggle sheepishly and cover his face as he sat back off of you, you chuckled quietly, kissing the backs of his hands before finally standing, earning more quiet giggles from the animatronic "alright c'mon silly, the daycare opens back up today you've gotta get ready" you said, grabbing his arm and pulling him up off of the floor "right right of course!" He said, looking around the room quickly before looking down at himself ".....im ready!" He announced as you got some clean clothes out of your backpack "great! I still need to get changed so can you please go get my tools and bring them up here? Wouldn't want any of the kids getting into them" you replied "yes, of course Sun answered before climbing out of his room and walking out on the platform, standing there for a moment and waving at you before diving off into the ball pit below, you flinched slightly, you'd seen him do that a handful of times but it still suprised you every time he did "BE CAREFUL" you shouted after him "I'M ALRIGHT!" He called back, you shook your head with a sigh before quickly getting changed into your last clean outfit, you'd only brought enough for the four days so you'd have to make a trip down to the laundry room tonight
you heard the door creak open slightly "can i come in?" Sun questioned "yeah, I'm dressed sweetheart" you replied, hearing the door open the rest of the way before you climbed back through the tube and into the larger room, stretching and walking over to Sun as he set your tools on the floor by the door, you leaned in and kissed him on the cheek quickly before brushing past him and into the hallway "thank you Sunny" you said as Sun quickly followed you down to the daycare which was honestly a bit over-organized at the moment "geez, and I thought you were a clean freak" you muttered before wrapping your arms around Sun tightly and resting your head against his chest, intending to stay there until 6am which was only a couple minutes away at the moment, sun draped his arms over your shoulders and rubbed your back gently, not seeming to mind "is Moon still talking?, he didn't shut down again did he?" You asked "yeah he's okay" Sun answered before gently pushing you away "I almost forgot!" He said, leaning over the desk and pressing a button, you heard a low clang from up in the ceiling and the lights flickered slightly for a moment "what was that?" You asked, leaning against the desk and crossing your arms "a light timer, it automatically shuts off the lights and changes the music at nap time" Sun answered before looking towards the floor for a minute "...what do you mean, I'm sure everyone will be glad to see you're back to your old self again" he said before wrapping an arm around you "yeah they might be scared at first but once they see you won't hurt them it'll be fine...i can tell them before the lights go out so they don't just scatter...Moon I think you're more scared of scaring them then they are actually scared of you...well it's also been a while, most of the kids that actually knew you are gone now and the new ones won't even think to be scared...well they all have to leave at some point...I know Moon... I'm sorry" Sun muttered "oh, I didn't even think about that, three years is a long time" you said before looking up as you heard the doors open upstairs "6am already?" You questioned
