Chapter 14

Kurt went to Blaines house. They cuddled on the couch while Pam was gone. Blaine wasn't sure where she was but assumed she was out running errands.

"How about we bake something?" Blaine suggested after a few minutes of silence.

"Yes!" Kurt squealed, running to the kitchen.

"Alright..." As Blaine walked in, Kurt was already grabbing ingredients. "So I'm guessing you like to bake."

"Yes."

"Do you know the directions by heart?"

"Yup. And measurements."

"Dang." Both of them laughed and Kurt started grabbing measuring cups. They baked together, Kurt instructing him on what to do.

"I have a question." Blaine said while mixing the wet ingredients.

"What?"

"Well, where is this going?" Kurt froze and turned towards him.

"Umm— what do you mean?"

"This relationship. Do you see it going anywhere? I mean we aren't telling anyone or anything. They keep finding out by themselves."

"I want to be with you."

"And I wanna be with you."

"So what's the problem?"

"You're going to college next year— and we haven't talked about how things will be or what will happen. I just feel like you aren't thinking about it."

"I think that we will be able to tell Finn about us eventually and can make long distance work."

"Okay."

"How do you feel?"

"I don't want you to leave but know you'll have to."

"Yeah."

"You want to move to New York?"

"Yeah."

"Okay."

"Is that okay?"

"Yes. I'll just need to learn how to be away from you."

"And I'll need to do the same." Blaine nodded. "But we can make it."

"Mhm."

"I'm gonna miss you."

"Same." Kurt walked over to Blaine, pressing a kiss to his lips. Blaine deepened it, getting picked up and set on the counter by Kurt. They apparently tuned things out because they didn't realize they were being watched until Blaine heard someone clear their throat by the doorway. He looked up and smiled.

"Cooper!"

"Hey little bro." He jumped off the counter, running over.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, hugging him.

"Pam got me from the airport so I could come see you."

"Awesome!"

"Yeah. Didn't mean to interrupt though."

"It's okay. This is my uhh— this is Kurt."

"Nice to meet you Kurt!" Cooper said with a smile.

"Nice to meet you too."

"What are you two doing?"

"Baking a cake." Kurt replied, motioning to the mess.

"You're a mess..." Blaine whispered.
