A few hours had gone by and teenagers were still hoarded up inside the dropship, coughing and wheezing as a few puked up blood like others had been doing earlier. Some people seemed to be getting better than they had been feeling earlier. Both Clarke and Bellamy had woken up and they had spoken to one another before trying to get everyone from outside of the dropship inside before the grounders would attack them.

Meanwhile, back inside the dropship, Y/n had slowly began to wake up, her e/c eyes fluttering open as she laid in the hammock, the small pillow beneath her head to keep her comfort. Small bits of blood laid around her mouth from the liquid she had thrown up earlier in when night had been coming around as it was now early in the morning. The Blake girl glanced around the dropship, seeing the same teenagers were still laying around and her brother had been gone from where she had seen him.

She also took notice of how Clarke was not laying in the hammock where Finn had placed her earlier the day before. Looking to the other side of the dropship, her e/c eyes land on Murphy's figure who was helping out with another camper, rolling them onto their side as they coughed out blood very roughly. The boy's back was facing the girl as he hadn't noticed her yet while he was crouched in front of a boy.

Eventually, the blue eyed boy rose up to his feet, placing the cloth had held on a chair as he turned around. His eyes widened at the sight of Y/n awake and staring at him and was quick to grab a cup of water, being careful not to spill as he sped towards her, placing his hand on her back and handing her the cup, watching as she took a sip of water while sitting up from the hammock, placing her feet over.

"How are you feeling?" Murphy asks, rubbing her back subconsciously.

Y/n shrugs, taking another sip of the water. "Better. My throat's a bit sore, though. And my head. What about you?"

"Better than before." Murphy assures, giving her a tired smile.

"You look exhausted." Y/n observes as she brings a hand up and resting it against his forehead as if to feel his temperature.

"Well, I mean, I've been helping practically all night. But it was worth it because it got you feeling better than before." Murphy states, making her smile.

The two stare at each other with smiles on their faces, finding themselves leaning in at the same time. As the got closer, Murphy's eyes travel down to her lips, licking his own dried ones. Hers, too, were dried but he didn't care. Murphy couldn't help but think about how he's never felt this way about anyone before, but when they met at the masquerade party on the Ark, she never left his mind one bit.

As their lips began to brush against one another, the loud sound of an explosion pulls them apart which Y/n was soon rising to her feet and jogging out of the dropship, Murphy right behind her. The two walked out and stopped by the ramp of the dropship where they looked to where everyone else was looking at.

A giant big cloud of smoke emitting from miles away in the forest, making Y/n remember that it was where the bridge was, the same bridge where they had met Anya as the bomb had no doubt been Finn and Jasper so the grounders wouldn't attack them. For a couple minutes, everyone in camp found themselves waiting until the teenagers made their way back to camp from the bridge.

"There! It's them! Open the gate." Harper announces.

Two boys obeyed and opened up the gate, revealing Monty and Jasper walking up on a hill, rifles in their hands. Everyone began cheering as the two boys walked back, Finn and Raven trailing behind them as the Collins boy was helping his girlfriend walk, blood laying on the Reyes girl's face from below her nose and a bit around her mouth.

As they continued to stand on the ramp of the dropship, Murphy glanced at Y/n beside him, seeing her clapping her hands with everyone else while she smiled at her friends who saved them all. He couldn't help but smile at the sight of her big smile on her face. When she stopped clapping her hands, the boy reaches over and holds her hand in his. Y/n turns to him, smiling while interlocking their fingers together.
