"This is ridiculous Barry"

"What is?"

"The thought of your dad and my aunt. If such a thing had happened, wouldn't I know?"

"Are you calling my dad a liar?"

"No. But then why has no one told me if this happened?"

"Fine. If you don't trust me, go and ask your aunt. She tells you everything "

"Fine, I will. I'll get to the truth, but Barry if this turns out to be a lie, just to badmouth my family, I'm not sure I want to see you again"

"Seriously? You want to break up over this?"

"How can I be with someone who's dad lies and badmouths my family? My dad means a lot to me. I can't sit back and do nothing whilst him reputation and honour it being ruined"

"Fine. If it's a lie, we'll go our seperate ways"

Caitlin drove home, urgently. She went straight upstairs 

"Aunty"

"Caitlin, what's wrong?"

"Do you know someone called Joe Allen?"

Her aunt froze. She got up and walked away 

"I'm asking you again. Do you know Joe Allen?"

"Where did you hear that name?"

"So he was telling me the truth"

"Who?"

"Barry, his son"

"How do you know him?"

"I love him"

"No. No. You can't. This love is cursed"

"Because of what happened to you?"

"Yes. I'm afraid that the same thing will happen to you two, and you will get seperated"

"I will leave this house before that happens"

Caitlin turned to go, but her dad was stood in her way

"So it has come to this. Your willing to leave us for his son. History is repeating itself again"

"No. I won't let it. I won't let my life be ruined, like you ruined aunties"

"So it has come to this. Your willing to go up against your dad for that boy"

"I don't want to, but if I have to, I will. I love him, and he loves me"

Thomas grabbed Caitlins arm

"Dad, what are you doing? Let me go"

"Let's see how you defy me" Thomas said, taking her into a room and locking her

"No dad. Let me out"

"This door will only open the day you forget about him"

Thomas drove to Joe and Nora's house

"Wasn't it enough that you played with my sisters life? Now you've got your son, doing the same thing and trying to ruin my daughters life. Well you can tell your son that my daughter hates him and no longer wishes to be with him"

Barry pulled up with him horse, just as Thomas sped off

"What did Caitlins dad want?"

"We told you not to play this game, but you wouldn't listen. You were adamant that your love was strong, and that she really loves you. Thomas came here to tell us that Caitlin hates you, and never wants to see you again"

"No, this can't be true"

"It is. We told you, but you took no notice"

Barry rode to Caitlins house. He was stopped by entering by security, so decided to beat them up. They grabbed him arms

"Caitlin"

Caitlin heard someone yelling her name

"Dad, please open this door. Barry's calling me"

The door was opened. Caitlin got ready to run out, but Thomas stopped her

"Caitlin, if you go to him, I will get one of my men to kill him"

"No dad"

"Caitlin, come out and tell them that you love me"

"Please dad, let me go"

"Go if you want, but don't blame me for the consequences"

"Caitlin"

"But dad, why are you doing this?"

"Caitlin, his life is in your hands. Tell him you no longer love him, and I'll let him live. The choice is yours"

Caitlin looked out of the window and saw that security were beating Barry. She knew what she had to do

"Stop. Don't touch him. Barry, I don't know who you are. Please leave"

"Caitlin, what are you saying?"

"Go  away. I hate you"

Barry shrugged the men off, and walked off. He turned to look at Caitlin, with hurt on his face. Caitlin turned her back on him, and fell to the floor 

"It's done. Are you happy?"

Barry returned home, distraught

"Your right. She never loved me. I'm sorry that I didn't listen to you. I just thought that she was different and that things would turn out differently this time"

"Caitlin, Im getting you married to Ronnie"

"No. I won't do this. Caitlin is Barry's, only Barry's"

"But have you forgotten, he doesn't want you anymore?"

"He thinks that because you made me tell him that I hate him. I did it, so I could save his life. But that doesn't mean that I don't love him,  and will marry Ronnie"

"Enough. Either you marry Ronnie, or you know what will happen"

"Dad, why are you doing this to me? I'm your daughter"

"Exactly. Ronnie is a better partner for you, then Barry will ever be"

Caitlin opened her eyes. What had just happened and what was going to happen next?
