What was it in the life of a grade A asshole?

Bryce could tell you, he could tell you all about it. In fact, in order to tell all of you about his character development, you'll have to know who he was before he fell into the hands of Samantha LaRusso. Bryce never really knew why he liked to be so mean, over time he started to cling onto the feeling of being above someone, feeling like he powered over them rather then having anyone do the same to him. It started when he accidentally kept a kids highlighter in seventh grade, forgetting to give it back but the boy never bothered to ask, because Bryce was taller and bigger then he was.

It went straight to his head.

As the years went on, it had gotten worse. He never hung out with the kids that were like them, he never even liked Yasmine and Kyler enough to ever consider starting a friendship. He preferred to be alone, by himself, without the company of friends to save him from the boredom he was drowning in. Maybe, over time, he started to enjoy it that way. Didn't help that it pissed him off the way Yasmine and Kyler were constantly picking on his brother either.

Despite what a hypocrite that made him.

Eli's dad wasn't a loyal man. All through his marriage with his wife, Eli's mom, he'd had an affair. So when Bryce was born two months before Eli, sharing the same DNA, and looking extremely like him, the truth unfolded. Eli's mom took him back though, after he swore to be loyal to her and their son to come. He still loved Bryce, truly, just not his mom. Now, spending every other weekend with his dad, step mom, and brother, Eli had picked up on his older brothers actions.

So, when he flips the script, he becomes just like him.

Bryce didn't realize it at first, not truly catching onto the way 'Hawk' was bullying kids the same way Bryce had, acting out like he did, treating his parents the same way Bryce had for years of bitterness. It wasn't until the All Valley when he noticed it, and it hit him right in the gut. After that, Bryce knew there needed to be a change, a light that helped him be better for not his sake, but for Eli's. So, when Miyagi-Do catches his eye, Bryce can't find a better option rather then to join a dojo that teaches the complete opposite of what he is.

Only, it comes with a price. And that price was Samantha LaRusso.

Sam was always a smart girl, she did great in school, easily focused, striving for high grades. Bryce saw it, ever since freshman year, he'd seen it. So when he pretty much demanded her to do his homework for him, it clearly built up a form of anger. Sam never would go to the extend of saying she fully hated Bryce, but he got under her skin extremely bad. He'd never been mean to her like he had everyone else, but she knew deep down that was only because he wanted her to continue to do his homework without getting the teacher involved.

So, between a girl that hates him, his brother ex-best friend, a random new boy, and a bitter Sensei...what possibly could go wrong?
