"Thank you"
Jisoo faked a smile for the hundredth time tonight.
She told her mom that she wanted to celebrate her birthday simply without having some unknown people greet her so that they could get some business with her dad.

But, being the daughter of the greatest CEO in Korea, she needs to go through this because later or sooner, she will be the one who will conduct the business.

"Honey, come here," Again, she takes a deep breath, preparing herself to force the laughter and fake smiles.

Time passed by, she looked at her watch, back to the main entrance waiting for her best friend or her little sister to come. Heejin informed her that the latter would be late and bring her cousin with her because she needed to care for her since she had just come from New Zealand.

"Baby, let's go; you need to blow the candle," Jisoo's dad called for her sweetly, as a father should. Despite his cold aura at the office, when it comes to the family, he would put his pride aside and ultimately become a softie to them.

"Dad, can we wait for Heejin? I promised her that I would wait for her,"

"But, baby, we can't make the guest wait for any longer," seeing her daughter's face saddened, he decided to cut it off,

"Okay, how about we wait for another 15 minutes, and if she didn't come yet, you still need to go up there with Mommy and me, okay?"

Hearing that, Jisoo nodded childishly; she's 26, but when it comes to her parents and friends, she's 6.

She rushed towards the door, not forgetting to bow and greet everyone on her way to the door.

She was about to pull out her phone when it was 3 minutes left before she needed to come in again and blow the candle.

"Soo! What are you doing out here?" Lisa and Seulgi attacked her from the back, making her startled.

"I'm waiting for--"

"Heejin?" Seulgi said before Jisoo could finish her sentence.

Jisoo nodded.

"Aigo, if I don't know you, I would think that you guys are dating, y'know?"

"Aish, I do love her as my little sister, so does she; you know she likes that silly boy, right?"

"Oh, I know, I know!"

"Now, If-"

"UNNIE!!!"

"Here comes the always-late-princess," Lisa said, earning laughter from Seulgi.

"Hey, kiddo, you made it!" Jisoo hugs the latter.

"Of course! I wouldn't miss my sister's birthday!"

"Uh-huh, she was about to blow the candle, but then she pouted and did that blablabla to her father so that she could wait for you."

"Aww, unnie... I'm sorry."

"Aish Lisaya," Jisoo smacked Lisa arm and patted Heejin hair softly,

"It's okay; now you are here, let's go, don't wanna miss any more minutes."

They were walking inside when Seulgi remembered something,

"Heejin, don't you say you will bring your cousin and her friends?"

"Oh, they will come; I told Uncle Lee already; they are just having some problem with their hair, I guess."

"Okay, now let's go" Jisoo grabbed Heejin's hand and brought her to the spot where she would do that birthday tradition thing.
