Chapter 22

The next evening...

Samukelisiwe and the boys were going out that night but they had so much work to do before that. Samukelisiwe woke up and went for a run, that evening she was going to get her cut stitched up.

Two hours later...

Samukelisiwe came back to find the whole house smelled so good and went to the kitchen to get some water.

"Phew." Samukelisiwe let out a breath as soon as she stepped into the huge doorway

"Ayyy! There's our girl." They all shouted

"How are you guys?" Samukelisiwe smiled

"We good, we were just talking about you," Xavier said

"Oh really? What was so important that you needed to talk about me." Samukelisiwe smiled

"Oh, nothing," Matthew said scratching his head

"Go shower we have to go out for dinner then to the club," Ethan said

Samukelisiwe went to go take a quick shower and got ready, as she was putting on makeup. Matthew knocked on her door. 

"Samu, are you decent?" Matthew asked

"Yeah come in," Samukelisiwe responded

Matthew sat on the couple's bed and started asking and talking to Samukelisiwe.

"Umm, I need to talk to you about last night and that you said some stuff to Ethan and it hurt him," Matthew said

"What about last night?" Samukelisiwe chuckled

"Samukelisiwe do you know why we think it's best you try with Ethan. I mean couldn't you just at least be sensitive with him like you're the only one who knows him, you two are the same, you have the same personality and we want you to be happy without any drama." Matthew said

"I'm also afraid of getting hurt," Samukelisiwe d s

"Look I had a feeling all of the pain Brian is putting you through for these past two weeks reminded you about the pain your ex brought on you, but you can't be hung up on the past when the person who hurt you was Brian and now you made up, but he's the one who took care of you and protected you ever since he saw you laying there on the road and taking you to the hospital," Matthew said

"I'm just avoiding him because I love him, because of my ex I can't go through it again and he should've learn how he should've treated me! To work on our relationship and talk about it, but all he did was leave, that's what he does, leaves all the time without thinking about everybody else's feelings!" Samukelisiwe yelled

"Okay you need to calm down, because you're acting like a bitch right now, in fact, a child, look Ethan isn't Kei, he treats you with respect and has respect for you, so don't be afraid because all of that is in the past," Matthew said

"I haven't been this happy since 2023 and Ethan makes me very happy, I just don't want to hurt Brian and you know why I had to lie the second time because you were involved, mom and dad and Xavier were involved and I couldn't tell him," Samukelisiwe said

"Okay I get it but you still shouldn't have done that and you are so happy with him like he told us everything when you came back from your coffee date that time Clarissa left," Matthew said

"I'm done with this topic can we just drop it already!" Samukelisiwe said

What they didn't know was that Ethan was listening to them the whole time and when Samukelisiwe went out the door he was standing opposite the door and she gave him a nervous look then hurried downstairs and into the car.

"Woah what the fuck did you say to her man?" Xavier asked

Matthew looked at Brian and looked away.

"Nothing let's just bounce, Ethan come on," Matthew said

There was so much tension in the car and they arrived at the hospital and they gave her a drug to sleep so she wouldn't feel the pain then they stitched her up and she was awake. After that, they were off. In the car, Samukelisiwe laid on Brian's lap. Matthew and Kei looked at each other

"Hey, babe are you okay?" Brian asked

"Yeah, I'm okay it's just a little sore," Samukelisiwe said

"Are you sure? Because you are quieter than usual and I know you when you are which means you're about to cry, so what's wrong? Hmm?" Brian said

"I'm okay can I just...please sleep on your lap," Samukelisiwe said softly

"Sure," Brian said

Samukelisiwe layed on his lap and placed her legs on Ethan's lap and started playing with Brian's fingers and she bit his arm

"Ay, no biting," Brian said

"But I love biting," Samukelisiwe whined

"Ughhh." Brian laughed

Samukelisiwe laughed and started playing with his fingers again

"You're cute you know that?" Brian said

"It's so good on your lap and I get to play with your fingers and bite you and pull your hand to bite it," Samukelisiwe said softly smiling

"You're such a weirdo you know that?" Brian laughed

"Well I'm your weirdo, now let me sleep," Samukelisiwe said

Samukelisiwe proceeded to sleep and the guys were talking about her.

"You know she's never been this happy and I didn't think after all of this she would be this happy at her lowest," Matthew said

"This means she does love you a lot," Xavier said

"Hey bro why are you so quiet lately?" Brian asked

"Nah it's nothing and we haven't talked for a long time," Ethan said

An hour later when they got home. An hour later Ethan was on the balcony with his earphones in and Xavier tapped him on the shoulder.

"Wthan, we need to talk," Xavier said

"Yeah what's up?" Ethan said

"Are you okay? Because I heard from Matthew that Samukelisiwe wasn't happy, well that's his words, not mine, I think she was acting childish." Xavier said

Matthew appeared in the kitchen

"She doesn't see how much I love her and they she belongs with me." Ethan chuckled

"Bro why are you hung up on her, she's moved on, and yeah she definitely loves you, but you can't do that to your best friend, I know you're trying to show how much you love her, but bro you don't deserve her and it's vice versa, she doesn't deserve you," Matthew said

"She's in this position because of me." Ethan sighed

"She's done so much damage and I know for a fact she did not mean any of that, though she is short-tempered, she did not mean it that way," Xavier said

Before he could finish his sentence Matthew cut in

"Yeah she loves you dude and just some piece of advice, don't clench onto something that isn't there, she loves you and cares about your feelings, and feelings are reciprocated, I know you love her, and she loves you too," Matthew said looking at the moon and stars

"She's dramatic bro, she's worse now than she was a child damn the drama we would get every day." Xavier laughed

"I love Samu but at times she can be too childish for her age, she needs to grow the fuck up and realize that she's being inappropriate as to lashing out without thought," Matthew said

"Dude she has a short temperbug she is cute and it's cute when she gets mad." Ethan said

"Yeah, but don't let her hear that because she will kill you," Matthew laughed

"I'm going to sleep and hopefully it's not as drastic of straining as the last few weeks," Ethan said walking away

"Night bro," Xavier said
