It was the next week, that night Ethan and Brian were packing and Samukelisiwe and her brothers were sitting in the movie house watching a movie then Samukelisiwe was upside down on the couch sulking and Ethan came and stroked her braids and hit her with them then she hit his leg and then Brian came then crouched down and kissed her on the lips and she pushed him away.
"You guys aren't helping me, you can't make me smile," Samukelisiwe whined
"Love, sit up because the blood might go to your brain." Brian chuckled
Samukelisiwe sat up and stood up then Brian sat down and then placed her on his lap and watched the movie then he stroked her thigh and buried his head in her neck whilst kissing it.
"I can't believe you're leaving tomorrow morning." Samukelisiwe pouted
"I know but I'll call you every night and if I can't I'll send you paragraphs in the mornings, or even essays and I mean at midnight." Brian chuckled
"I hope you call when you land," Samukelisiwe said
"I will but I won't promise I'll call every night because I'll be tired from the games," Brian said
He kissed her on the lips and then their foreheads were still touching and tears were upbringing and she started crying when she closed her eyes.
"I love you so much, baby," Brian murmured
"I love you more," Samukelisiwe said
They watched a movie for an hour until 21:00 and then all of them were going to sleep. Later Brian helped Samukelisiwe put his hoodie on and then they laid down, afterwards he pulled her so close and they went to sleep. The next morning they all woke up and Xavier and Matthew drove them to the airport Samukelisiwe didn't want to say goodbye so she went with them to the check-in then the gates and she kissed Ethan on the cheek and Brian on the lips and the guys dabbed each other up.
"Don't worry we will be back in three months okay?" Brian said cupping her face
"I know but it's too far," Samukelisiwe said
"Stay safe okay love, I love you so much," Brian said
He kissed her head and started crying and she held his wrist then he had to leave and she couldn't let go of him so she held his hand until they let go. She cried and turned to Matthew burying her face in his chest so she didn't want to see Ethan and Brian with the rest of the team boarding the plane.
When they settled down Brian and Ethan were talking on the plane.
"Fuck, I can't believe that we are actually on the way to the tournament." Ethan laughed
"Yeah me either." Brian chuckled
He looked out the window at the sunrise. Then Ethan took an AirPod out and gave it to him.
"Come on bro, get excited! I mean we are going on tour for March Madness for the next three months and you can FaceTime Samu every night and then the next three months will go by in an instant and you'll be back in her arms in no time." Ethan said
"Bro but what if something happens to her," Brian said
"Oh come on bro, you have us and at least we won't do that many suicides," Ethan said
"I need to call her and also talk to Xavier to call me whenever she has seizures so I can calm her down and I have to remind her to take her medication every night and morning," Brian said
"Oh like sending something like, I love you and remember to take your meds with a little red heart," Ethan said
"Oh haha, you're so funny," Brian said sarcastically
