I went to bed after Eren visited me. I needed to buy some bathroom products so I hope I don't run into him today. When I lied in bed last night, I started to regret what I told Eren. I mean, what if he does tell? How did I trust him so easily? We've known each other for like two days yet I felt like he could keep my deepest secret. Maybe it's something about his attitude that made me sure he was going to keep his promise. Or maybe I'm just an idiot for admitting it. Would he have believed me had I told him it wasn't true? No. He already knew from the DM. So I guess it was inevitable. Damn. I should've never opened that fucking message. Then I wouldn't be deep in thought about this. He offered to help me with my photo shoot and I couldn't say I wasn't tempted to accept. It's hard doing it by myself. But it's so awkward. I would much rather have Sasha help me instead. Still, I won't tell her yet. And Eren's pool party was tomorrow. I told him I wouldn't go. Or well, I told him I'd think about it. But I don't think I'll go. It's too weird now. The best I can do is avoid him to my best extent. Would he get upset and confront me if I ignored him? Nah actually. He doesn't seem like an attentive person. He definitely wouldn't care. Right?

"Ma'am? Hello?" A customer gets my attention. I snap back into reality and look at my surroundings. Right. I was buying some shit. I turn to my right while a box of pizza rolls was in my hands. The older woman gives me a nervous smile. I step back and close the freezer.

"Oh. I'm sorry. I was just a little distracted," I apologize before letting her look into the freezer. I put the pizza rolls in my cart and head over to the hygiene products. I grabbed shavers, deodorant, shampoo, and conditioner. I check out and head to my car to put the bags in the trunk. I see a worker walking towards me with a warm smile. I ignore them until they approached me.

"Did you need help with those bags?" I hear a semi-deep voice ask. I turn around and see a tall, lanky blonde. I couldn't really tell their gender.

"Oh...! No actually. I'm okay, thank you," I politely decline. They nod.

"Is this your car?" They ask me. I nod.

"Yeah. Hard to believe?" I sarcastically ask. They chuckle.

"No actually. I just like it. Nice choice," They tell me. I put a bag in the trunk and turn back at them.

"Thanks. Is everyone here like obsessed with cars?" I ask them playfully. They chuckle again before responding.

"You're new here. That's why it's my first time seeing you," They smile at me. I look at them attentively.

"Well, Paradis is like a college town. A lot of college dudes like cars around here. It's kind of like a custom. Most of them work at body shops. Typical college dudes. You've been getting compliments on her?" They point at my car. I scoff before responding.

"Quite a few. I go to college at Pardis U. I started my second year here so I'm getting used to the environment. I actually recently moved into my new apartment," I tell them. They put their hands in their pockets before nodding.

"I see. Well, that means I'm a little older than you," They joke. I smile.

"Yeah? How old are you?" I ask them. They watch me, scared of my reaction.

"I'm gonna be forty next month," They tell me. My eyes widened when they laughed.

"Kidding. I'm twenty-six. I'm actually the manager here. Sucky job for a twenty-six-year-old, I know. Makes me look lame," They say. I watch them and laugh before closing my trunk.
