today I thought about you again.
but this time you didn't leave,
you stayed.
today I let my imagination fly free
into the sky of possibilities.
I didn't bury it alive in the cemetary.
today I didn't think about endings and self-inflicted heartbreaks.
instead, I thought about you thinking about me.
and my heart,
so used to the shatters and emptiness,
has never felt so full
with the thoughts of you,
and I,
and us.
today I didn't cry tears of longing
and doomed what-ifs.
they were full hope and love and adoration,
so was I.
Tomorrow I'll think again about you leaving,
But today-
today, you stayed.
today, I'm so happy.
