You left me, and in your absence, I  couldn't recognise myself. I looked in the mirror only to meet a stranger's glare. So I clenched my fist tight and punched the mirror until my fingers bled. So I used the blood to dye my hair all the shades of red. So I screamed until my voice shrank to a shadow of what it used to be. So I left the country and everyone who wasn't you behind. So I built myself so tall, you became nothing but a small nuisance. So I painted my world golden and made it so big, you'll drown if you dare to swim through it. You left me and so in your absence, I became someone you will not recognise.
