Sleeping next to Yeji wasn't as uncomfortable as she thought. After their conversation, they had both drifted to sleep easily. Probably because of the amount of alcohol in their system.

The next morning Ryujin woke up with a headache. Yeji was still deep asleep next to her, hair messy and snoring slightly. It was rather adorable and she couldn't help but to smile to herself.

Getting up, she got herself ready. Moving to wake the other woman up after having brushed her teeth and put on her outfit for the day. Giving Yeji a change of clothing for her to use. Luckily Ryujin was a fan of oversized clothing so it fit her perfectly despite the other being taller.

Yeji was still half asleep, cheeks puffed up and eye bags more than visible. It was cute and she couldn't help but to wish she could see that more often.

Sitting on opposite sides of a table on a random cafe, they ordered their food and kept exchanging looks. Yeji grunting at the sun hitting her face and placing a hand up to protect her eyes. "I shouldn't have drunk that much."

Ryujin couldn't help but chuckle, busy eating her breakfast despite it being lunch time already. "You have the day off?"

Yeji nodded.

The younger girl busied herself with her food yet again, taking a moment to think about her next words. "Do you have plans?"

Eyes focused on Yeji, she watched as she shook her head. "Actually, I was going to ask you out."

"You- What?" She blurted out, both confused and shocked by the words the other had said. That had been the last thing she would have seen coming from Yeji.

"It's my turn, isn't it?" Yeji questioned, fork stabbing the pancakes on her plate. "Allow me to take you on a date. A real one."

"Our first date?"

"Our first date." Yeji confirmed, head nodding once and gaze focused on hers. "Not because of an engagement forced on us or appearances."

Ryujin stared for a moment, taking in those words and Yeji's intentions. It was a lot to process but of course she would be a fool to say no. "I'm up for it."

"Good."

Ryujin took a sip of her coffee before speaking again. "But Yeji..." She waited for the other woman to look up, their gaze meeting again. A moment of silence taking over before she continued. "If we are doing this, I hope that you know i'm taking it very seriously."

Yeji nodded, smiling softly. "So am I."

The feelings she felt on the inside were driving her insane. Since she had arrived and met up with Yeji in Paris, everything seemed too good to be true. Like it had came straight from her wildest dreams. Everything felt unreal and yet too intense for it not to be the realest thing she had ever experienced.

Their date ended up being an art focused date which she shouldn't have been surprised by yet was. With each of them drawing the other and much laughter in the mix. Of course, Ryujin was always decent at art but just above average for your normal person. Nothing compared to Yeji who had worked hard to be incredible. Her drawing too close to the likeness of Ryujin but with a less than realistic style in some aspect.

"Remember back when we lived together and sometimes i'd be in a bad mood because of this one particular teacher I had?" Yeji asked suddenly after staring at her painting of Ryujin for a while. "The one that upset me so much that you essentially kidnapped me to go to that hill with you, the place I ended up loving."

"I remember."

Yeji chuckled to herself before shaking her head. "He kept bothering me because no matter the assignment we had, you ended up sneaking yourself into it and my mind. It was as if you and our situation as well as every feeling I felt at the time kept making their way into my art. He kept pointing it out and often criticizing it. Which of course, pissed me off."

"That's why you'd be all pissed?"

Yeji hummed, biting her lower lip for a split second. "One of the reasons, yes."

She couldn't contain her laughter but once it eventually died down she found herself having a staring contest with the other woman, both smiling at the intensity of it. Both knowing it meant more than a simple stare.

"You affected me more than you know, Ryujin." Yeji admitted, her voice barely audible.

"It's only fair since you affect me too, Yeji." Ryujin countered with a smirk.
