> Sundrop's POV

I waited in the Daycare the next day for kids to arrive, spending my time making drawings using colored pencils, crayons, glitter glue, and stickers. I drew me and moon holding hands with kids all around us. I was informed earlier that Moon would be joining me later today when naptime occurred and he was fully installed.

So I waited as a few kids came and I greeted them happily. Some seemed a bit scared of me- I don't know why, I was doing my best to be friendly!- but they grew to be less scared and more playful as time went on. We played games, drew in coloring books, made crafts... It was a blast! Kids were so fun, I loved it here!

After a few hours I realized it was around naptime and Moon still wasn't here. Strange. I didn't know what to do for naptime- I wasn't told since it was Moon's job. I hoped he'd be here soon.

We continued to play, getting into a few rounds of hide and seek in the jungle gym. I was chosen as the seeker since I was too big to hide well among the play structures.

Near the end of the third round, when there were only a few kids left, Moon was brought into the daycare. I perked up and exited the jungle gym, calling to all the kids that I forfeit and the game was over. I skipped over to where moon was, looking around the daycare with a slightly disinterested gaze.

"Hello! I'm Sundrop, your Co-worker!!" I introduced myself, holding out my hand for him to shake.

He didn't deign to shake my hand, instead looking around the area. "It's almost naptime," he said in a voice that was a deeper variation of my own, with less excitement in his tone rather than mine.

"Yes! I was hoping you could get the kids to sleep, I was getting nervous since I didn't know what to do," I played with my fingers, not meeting his gaze- which I now knew he had red eyes- as he stared at me.

He walked over to a pile of mats, laying them out near the center of the daycare. "They sleep on these- if they're cold there's blankets in the storage cabinet over there," Moondrop said, gesturing to a door near the security desk. "Can we turn these lights off? They're hurting my eyes."

"Yes, yes, we just need to get the kids here and then we can turn off the lights!! Kids, come here!!" I said, pulling blankets from the storage and laying out the mats carefully.

As all the kids gathered, most shied away from Moon at my side. Sure, he looked a bit menacing, but he was nice! "Kids, this is Moondrop. He'll be watching over you guys while you have naptime to make sure you all are asleep," I gestured to the mats behind them. "Pick a mat and get to sleep!! I'm gonna go turn the lights off, I'll be right back!"

I hopped over to the light switch near the security desk, flicking the lights off. I was scared of the dark- not knowing where things were. But I knew the daycare layout well enough that I headed back to where the kids were trying to get asleep.

Moondrop sat nearby, and I approached him. His eyes glowed in the dark, more light coming into them. I assumed he was as comfortable with the dark as I was in light. Maybe it made him a bit less cold?

"Hello," he whispered low enough that the kids could not hear. Indeed, his voice sounded more curious and... I tried to ignore how his voice made me feel. The rough scrape of his voice as he spoke, the seductive tone. Yep, he'd definitely changed since the lights turned out.

"Hello," I said in a voice that was a bit unsteady.

"So, what do you think? Of this all," he whispered in that same tone that made my spine lock up. He gestured generally to the daycare.

"I like it here, the kids are fun and it's nice," I murmured.

"Your face is reddish," Moon pointed out. "Are you sick? Or..."

I reached to my face, trying to cover any color. I was an animatronic, how do I even blush? "Or?" I echoed.

"Or, something about me is making you feel things. Is it my voice? My eyes? My body?" He whispered in that voice that made my toes curl (do I have toes?).

"...what?" I glanced over to the kids- all asleep.

Moon laughed quietly, his ruby eyes boring into mine. "You're very interesting, Sun," he leaned towards me, causing me to unintentionally lean back. I leaned too far and started falling back, uding my elbows to stop myself from falling completely.

Before I knew it, Moon was leaning over me, his hands holding him up next to my head. His legs were between mine. I glanced panicked at the sleeping kids. "Get off," I hissed in a tone I didn't know I was capable of using.

"No," Moon said in a self-satisfied tone. "Tell me what about me you like best, and then I'll let you go." He picked up one of his hands and started to trace circles on my stomach. I shivered, the strokes of his fingers making me feel... Good.

I finally registered how close he was to me. How his hips were inches from mine, his eyes watching every move I made.

"Your voice is... so hot," I admitted. "It makes me feel warm and makes me feel... Other things."

"What else?" He asked, his circles trailing lower. Dangerous.

"Y-your eyes. They're like rubies- the way you watch me... The places you look-" my breath hitched as his finger reached my waistband. I tilted my head back. I shouldn't be doing this- the kids were right there- I needed to get him off. He was stronger than me, I couldn't do it by force.

"And?" He asked, toying with my waistband.

"And... Your hands. The way they make me feel. It's... So good," I told him what he wanted to hear, though it wasn't a lie.

He grinned at me and stopped his advance with his finger, sitting up. I lay there for a few moments, just watching him as he woke the kids up. Naptime was over already? I realized I should get up and turn on the lights, so I stood and walked a bit unsteadily to the security desk where the lights were. I glanced back at moon, who was grinning at me, those eyes of his following me as I reached to turn off the lights.

I swallowed and turned off the lights, the light fading from Moon's eyes as he woke the kids.

I tried not to think about what had happened during naptime for the rest of the day, watching the kids leave after a few hours as their parents picked them up. As i said goodbye to the last kid, I looked over to Moon, who was standing by the security desk.

His hand was on the light switch. And I could only watch as he turned them off, the lights going out as the door to the daycare closed, and Sun knew it wouldn't open until the next day.

Leaving him trapped with Moondrop.
