Breaking the rules (SCP-049 x reader)

Chapter 5

You stood to the side of the room. 049 had chains on it... or well him. At least, hearing its voice now he sounded male.

He was so calm during the questions, you made sure to note down everything. But looking up from your notes you could swear he was staring at you. It wasn't very obvious his head wasn't turned but his eyes were on you.

You spaced out. What in the world? Weird and kind of creepy... Oh no, he wasn't going to target you, was he? You're fine... You're fine...

When you finally realized you had spaced out. The questions stopped. The door opened allowing you to leave, you practically ran out.

Your father found you and saw something was wrong.

" What happened?"

You took a deep breath," I swear, It... He...049 was like staring at me".

" Perhaps it's best you don't involve yourself with 049"

" Y-yeah" 

He handed you a note, " Do these few things before we leave today, can you do this on your own?".

" Yes!" You say as you snatch it.

" Alright"

You look at this list.

"This sucks..."

You had to go down even farther in the building. You sigh as you walk toward an elevator, this is gonna be fun...

Time skip

You swore you heard someone scream... Maybe a D-class... But you shouldn't be able to hear them. And not down here, you were too close to Keter class SCPs. Unless...

You froze.

" Of course..."

You booked it towards the elevator. Running in and pressing every number of any floor above you. You started to go up only for the elevator to malfunction and stop. It didn't drop down but it refused to continue moving.

The doors opened and you ran out, fearing that it would suddenly drop down to the lowest floors, where you definitely did not want to be. You look around trying to remember what floor you were on. You couldn't really comprehend your surroundings, all you could think of was finding another elevator.

You walk but quickly hurry your pace. It was eerily silent. Without paying attention you bump into something or someone. Falling back next to the wall.

" Oh, I apologize, Doctor. Here, let me help you," They said, holding out their hand.

You didn't like to be called that, just didn't fit you. And you definitely didn't have the best memories when it came to doctors.

Without thinking you grabbed their hand to stand up. But when you looked to see who helped you...

" Thank you but I definitely shouldn't be called doctor, I-"
