1968

Rain drops rolled down the glass window panes, the storm outside making it's decision to stay for the day, ruining people's plans in the process. The magazine in your hands getting dull and boring, and the need to do something a bit more stimulating struck you quickly, making you glance over at your dear husband sitting on the armchair.

He had a notepad in his one hand, and a blue ink pen in the other as he scribbled down lyrics of his own. George was becoming more and more confident in his songwriting ability each day, and it made you happy to see him achieving another thing. Not to mention how lovely his lyrics were, and how George would always let you be the first person to read and gush over them.

You abruptly tossed your magazine onto the wooden coffee table, causing George to look up and at your frame that was lazily laying on the orange velvet sofa. He could immediately tell you were bored, and felt a bit bad that he hadn't done anything to curb that boredom you were feeling. So with that, George got up off the chair and placed his notepad and pen on it, going over to your frame and interlocking his hands with yours.

Taken back by the gesture, you couldn't help but wonder what George was planning to do as he pulled you onto your feet "What are you doing, George?" You let a soft chuckle slip past your painted lips.

"Trying to make this rainy day less boring for you" George grinned, and placed his warm hands onto your hips, America by Simon & Garfunkel starting to play sweetly off the record player in the corner. The guitarist started to move you both with the melody of the song, while you finally took it upon yourself to wrap your arms around his neck.

Moments when you found yourself in sweet or silly situations with George were the ones you would never forget, they were the ones that made you experience what happiness was all about. Athough, every moment with George was one to be considered unforgettable and memorable at the same time; you truly cherished the time spent with your husband.

"I absolutely adore moments like these with you" You sighed contentedly, having to look up a bit to gaze into George's chocolate orbs that always held love in them whenever he looked at you. George could also say he loved spending time, and indulging in delightful moments with you aswell. The guitarist could never get enough of them or you, both never failing to make George feel elated.

"Me too, love" George cracked a smile that you couldn't help but return, before connecting your lips with his in a sweet, passionate manner. His lips were so soft as they moved slowly against your own, a familar electricity that occured everytime George kissed you, flowing through your body.  Neither one of you could ever get enough of eachothers lips, and that always resulted in long kisses, or steamy makeout sessions that lead to love-making in the end.

But before things escalated any further, you had to pull away and remind George of something, something that you meant more than anything in the entire world.

"I love you, George" You spoke, and whenever those words left your mouth they made George feel like a winner, knowing that a gorgeous girl like you loved him more than anything else

"I love you too, dear" George's response also made you internally jump up and down like a fanatic little girl, knowing that a sweet, talented, and handsome man like George loved you back.
