You Are My Sunshine (Sun and Moon x reader)

You would find yourself laying down watching videos on your phone with Sun laying on top off you, his face buried against your belly and his legs kicking happily in the air as you traced over his rays with the hand you didn't need to hold your phone, once the video you'd been watching ended you set your phone to the side and placed both of your hands on the animatronics rays "y'know now that I'm thinking about it I've never seen you so relaxed before" you said, earning no response, you noted that he had stopped kicking his legs "Sunny?" You questioned, he still didn't respond so you grabbed the top-most rays and pulled his head up to look at him, his eyes were black but only for a moment, quickly flashing white again as he squawked, lightly swatting at your wrists "don't pull don't pull!!" You quickly let go of his rays and he dropped his head back down to rest on your belly as all of his rays retracted "I'm sorry are you okay? Your eye's were off" You asked, "I was just in power saving mode i-im fine" Sun answered, somewhat dazed as he slowly sat up off of you, rubbing his head "oh...so you were just sleeping? I'm sorry I've never seen you do that before" you said "it's because I'm low on energy so my body is trying to reserve it until my next recharge" he explained "when's your next recharge?" You asked "tomorrow night" he answered, all of his rays popping back out other than the two you'd pulled on "I didn't hurt you did I?" You asked "no no, my sensors will just be bugged for a minute" Sun answered, teetering back and fourth as he looked towards the floor "it's a safety precaution, it's not as though they've never been yanked on before" he added, picking up a pillow and clutching it tightly to his chest, you got up, moving over to Sun and leaning against his shoulder
"I really am sorry" you mumbled, Sun would then lean down and press his faceplate against your cheek as if giving you a kiss "and I really am completely fine" he replied "just....tired.." He added you leaned up, stroking his cheek lightly and kissing his forehead "of course sweetheart, go back to sleep" you mumbled, watching as he buried his face against the pillow and slowly relaxed into it, there was no comfortable way for you to cuddle up to him with the way he was sitting so you just dragged over a couple pillows, kissing Sun's shoulder lightly before curling up beside him "good night Sunny...I love you" you muttered quietly
