The sun shines in my face from the open window.
"Sigh... Just another depressing day." I say.
It's another day, and it's time to go to school. The same routine, every day.
I'm about to head down the stairs when I hear him. Oh no.. No no no.. I quietly try to go back but it's too late.
"Elise! You finally woke up.", A tall man with dirty blonde hair walks up to me. Dan.
I stay quiet.
"Come on. Why so quiet?"
Silence again.
"I asked you a question."
I sigh. "I'm just... What the hell are you even doing here, Dan? This is my apartment."
"Aww, don't be like that. I'm your friend, right? I can come and go as I please." he says, smiling.
"No, you can't. Get out." I say loudly.
Oops-
Before I know it, my face is against the wall, squished. His hands are pulling my hair.
"I'm not going anywhere, whether you like it or not. Remember who you're speaking to." Dan lets go of my hair and walks away.
I sink down to my knees.

The school day passes slowly and it's night again.
Why? Why do I have to keep dealing with the same things every day...? It feels so suffocating. I just don't want to do this anymore.
Tears scroll down my cheeks.
