It's morning and the sun is shining in my face.
I open my eyes. Remembering what happened last time, I quickly look over to my bed and come face-to-face with Jester.
"Jester? You scared me...!", I say, nervously smiling.
He was layed down on my bed, with his head resting on his hands. "Hmm...", he says, smiling and just staring at me.
"Uh..." I say, trying to avoid his gaze. "Right! How did you get here??"
He inhales. "Well... That man did stab me so I ran as fast as I could. Trying to avoid him, I fell into a river without knowing. And somehow, I end up here!", he says, smiling innocently.
"And I also notice your wound is gone? Wow, that's...weird. But lately, everything has been weird.", I say, laughing.
We both stay quiet for a moment.
"Um, Jester. I was wondering-" I hear my front door opening.
I freeze.
"Shit."
"What's wrong, Sunshine?", Jester asks.
"You need to hide, right now."
"What? Why? What's wrong?"
"Dan is her-"
My bedroom door opens. Dan is standing in the doorway, looking at Jester.
