"One you leave your room and two you find a mystery door in the elm's bark and tumble down the stairs did I get it right?" Belladonna asked Mystery, standing right in front of her with her hands on her hips, I wouldn't want to be in her place.

I saw Belladonna more growing up than any other mage because she is a head mage, and I once was punished by her for something; my mother let her do it. I ended up scrubbing the throne room's floor with a hand-sized scrub, and Belladonna oversaw the task... Never again.

"Yeah." Mystery said.

I looked around, mother was here and she had not only brought Eleric but the Mirrel and Meridith too, from how closely she was observing the paintings on the walls mother didn't seem to be aware that this place existed before now.

"By the gods Mystery." I wanted to laugh a little as Mystery shrugged but Eleric elbowed me in the ribs making me kick him, both of us hissing in pain. Mystery looked over worried, since I was standing right by her and holding her hand, I smiled back to say I was fine.

"Have any of you read of this place?" Calypso asked as she finished setting up the crystal torches she brought along on the floor and near to the wall to make the decoration on it clearly visible.

The height of the room was the average of two human beings and the ceiling domed as it was made of the tree itself while the walls were stone. The walls were covered in old chipped paint but it depicted the story of the war that almost led humanity to it's extinction.

There was a character, a man, that was always repainted and also a long bodied silver dragon was painted around the top edge of the wall, circling the whole room with the muzzle ending where the tail started, was it this dragon Mystery met when she almost died?

I suddenly felt cold at the idea, the fear I felt zipping through me and mentally thanking that dragon.

"Someone immortalized the story and hid it without telling about it to anyone but why?" Leo asked, tapping his foot against the wall.

"Maybe to keep us safe." Mother said, finally getting off the stairs, having been standing on them so that she could more closely see the dragon as it was the highest up of all the painting.

"How so mother?" I asked, the first to voice this question.

"Most look at this story as a legend, few believe it truly happened, we could even say our family it the only one remembering the stories as it should be and because of that." She pointed at the wall and I looked over.

I looked at the last drawing of the man before the story would loop, he was facing us but his hands were covered in fire with a crown painted on his head along with purple gem stones carved and put over where his eyes should be.

"Purple gemstones." Mystery whispered as I watched the point of light that was converging on the center of his chest, the gems doing that I bet.

"What could that mean tho?" Amalia said, pointing at the light point. "They were crafted to do this on purpose no matter what angle the light comes from." So I was right.

"I think it is the void." Mystery said and I saw the confusion on many faces since only Mystery, Amalia and my mother along with me know what we are talking about. "I think that represents your power Audrey."

"Wait what?" Emersme asked, standing so close to Eleric he was basically glued to him.

"Yeah as her Majesty can produce and intimidating aura, princess Audrey can create something we call void." Amalia said. So she doesn't know of Eleric's magic? "The total absence of magic, sucking the magic into a small void that she fells right in her chest and the magic vanishes, she was at least a good few yards away from me and I still felt the dip in magic." I remember the feeling clearly as if it was moments earlier that I had awakened this void.

"And being right with her I saw a magic creature be torn to shred and get sucked into the void, part of my own magic getting caught in it's grasp, it is really powerful." Mystery added on to Amalia's words.

"And we have no idea how I could harvest this, not even the elves found anything on it in their archives, but we are sure someone knows of what it does and how to use it, since that's why they are trying to kill me." I finished with a heavy sigh as it would be useful to know how to do it again.

"So it all comes back to being purple eyed, an innate grasp on the most dangerous magic in existence, the lack of it, the void." Mother said as she thought out loud, a hand under her chin, resting it on the back of it. "That must be why purple eyes are seen as gods, as long as they control their power no magic can ever affect them, that would also give them a reason to hide it and keep no archives of what it can do, passed mouth to mouth but this time it was forgotten to time."

I felt Mystery drop my hand and I let her, looking at my mother and waiting for her to continue but she was staring at something on the wall.

"Euh people?" I looked at Mystery, she was touching the wall and a silver light was snaking across the stone, forming familiar letters, like back with the archives. "I am not using magic."

"I think its the fact that you have strong magic, stronger then the rest, that makes it react, do not move." She said.

Slowly they turned into letters and stopped snaking around, the letters clear and glowing a gentle silver.

"Mystery..." I said softly, enchanted by the simple yet elegant writing, knowing Mystery could read it.

"Darkness slumbers in the deep, but it shall try complete its deed." She said, instantly translating the words. "From its slumber it will rise, to try to destroy the purple eyes. A silver dragon shall awaken, for in this battle it shall partaken. Old enemy and new foe, a battle started long ago. It will cause annihilation with it's invasion. Purple and silver shall fight together to stop it from going... Further."

"It is almost..." I started.

"Yeah." She nodded, it was almost like the death dragon's prophecy.

"It seems like you two are bound by fate." I turned to mother. "We need to discover what this void is as soon as possible before this darkness were to awaken."

We all nodded, blissfully unaware.
