I quickly sat up from my bed in shock, hitting my head on something hard. I groaned in pain, immediately holding my pounding head.
Another pained groan from someone came from the floor. I looked down, seeing Matias sitting on the floor, holding his head.
“W–What the hell is wrong with you?!”
He grumbled, irritation leaking out of his voice. I scoffed.
“You were the one shouting at me to wake up!”
He rolled his eyes, heaving a sigh.
“Get ready, we gotta go buy some tools for the backyard.”
“I can go by myse–”
“Nope, not happening.”
He cut me off, I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. He glanced at me and chuckled.
“Mamá says you might drop something again.”
“Wha— that was literally one time!”
I whined, he shrugs.
“Oh, don't worry, you can go home by yourself. Me and Marcos are gonna go play with some friends afterwards.”
He says, giving me a smug smile before leaving my room. I sighed, heading to the bathroom to take a quick shower.
After showering, I quickly got myself ready. I wore the dress my Mamá picked out for me when we went shopping together in our old town. It was a beautiful light green color.

I then grabbed the necklace my Secret Admirer gave me and put it on. I wonder if he's gonna notice me wearing this. I felt my face heat up from the thought. I lightly slapped my cheeks. Gotta keep myself together.
