October, the second month of autumn. There was not much change in Condowall, a certain rural town in Washington except the weather that became more cold lately and leaf litter that accumulated more each day on the street, giving the street janitors a busy time.

A small café was open at 9 in the morning on the side of the main road. The black and white tiles were still shiny as new as not many customers were present. The fan lamp was busy spinning while a radio tape on the counter played a country song at the corner.

[I am a country boy, Living in my hometown~]

[Working at my father farm, Feeding my cattle~]

[That is my life, But actually, I have a big dream~]

Inside the café, a female canine in overalls and red shirt rested her head on her arm as she stared outside the glass window. Her other hand stirred the iced coffee that she had just ordered while she was waiting for someone.

Not long after, the song on the radio came to the end, followed by the two presenters.

Male presenter : [And that is our last song request for this morning. Does it make your day better?]

Female presenter : [Of course you do. I even forgot for a while about my divorce last week as I listened to the songs. *sigh* I wish I could forget it forever.]

Male presenter : [Whoah, Lisa, don't throw a bomb suddenly there. Our beloved listeners don't need to listen to some heavy topic right in the morning.]

Female presenter : [I'm sorry, Johny. I didn't feel good today. How about you try to find a good topic for us to talk about?]

Male presenter : [Well, what a coincidence, because I know something that can definitely lift your and everyone's mood.]

Female presenter : [Oh yeah? What is that?]

Male presenter : [I give you a hint. This year is a special year for all of us American citizens, and you know why.]

Female presenter : [Ah, yes. Of course, I know. That's because...]

Male presenter : [America will become...]

Male & female presenter : [The host of the 15'th FIFA World Cup!]

[*applause sound effect*]

Female presenter : [Seriously, wow, I'm so excited! Thanks for reminding me, Johny. I just remember that my boyfriend and I already bought a ticket to California months before. I can't wait for our date there while supporting our team at the same time!]

Male presenter : [Yeah. Everybody must be excited as you ar- Wait, what did you just sai-]

Female presenter : [Anyway, it is only eight months left before the event starts. Even if it still feels long for you, it actually isn't! So you should hurry up if you don't want to run out of tickets. Here are some tips if you want to-]

As the presenters kept chattering, the bell on the front door rang. A male wolfdog in a red bilbao flannel shirt walked in with a bag on his back. He looked around the restaurant, seemed to be looking for someone

Seeing the female canine beside the window, he walked towards her and sat on the seat across the table.

"Hi. Did you wait for long?" He said as he put his bag under the table.
