Today is going to be a great day.

Since last night, I've done nothing but sleep and listen to the earworms play in my head over and over again. It's like a playlist, switching from one song to the next when I am tired of hearing the one currently stuck in my head. "Finally Free" has been the one stuck in my head for the last hour, and I'm grateful to have earbuds to mask the noise. Even better, it's a song I had completely forgotten about until five minutes ago.

"Ain't gonna fight it cause it's useless
I can't get this music out of my head
It'slikethe beat istaking over
Weight off of my shoulders, dancing instead
And something's feeling different in the hallways
Somethings looking, lookinglikeit'schanged
I've been movingto the rhythmfor the whole day
A million lyrics running through my brain" Dang, I forgot how good this song was. It's from so long ago that I would never have remembered it unless it came up in a shuffle of all the songs on my phone. One of those songs that just reminds you of your childhood and all the good memories that go with it.

"Everybody here we go, this thing is unstoppable
Haven't felt this in a minute, it's incredible

I got the music back inside of me
Every melody and chord
Can't stop the music, back inside my soul
And it's stronger than beforе
I got the music, it won't let me go
I got thе music, just like a radio
I got the music, streaming from my soul
And it's stronger than before" It's like a big music video in my head as I play the song, walking to my locker. Just me and the music.

"Don't care if everybody's watchin'
Silence ain't an option, it's out of my hands
I feel the beat taking me higher
Baby this is fire, this is my jam
And something's feeling different in the hallways
Something's looking, looking like it's changed
I've been moving to the rhythm for the whole day
A million lyrics running through my brain" Well, me, the music, and the invading thoughts of Luke. I swear, it doesn't take much for me to start thinking of the ghost, leaving me spinning. I know we can't be together, since he'd pick his soulmate over me in a heartbeat.

"Everybody here we go, this thing is unstoppable
Haven't felt this in a minute, it's incredible" Singing aloud, it's almost like I'm a part of the music video I was obsessed with for a year. Granted, that was when I was twelve, but it's one of the many reasons I love singing and writing songs so much.

"I got the music back inside of me
Every melody and chord
Can't stop the music, back inside my soul
And it's stronger than before
I got the music, it won't let me go
I got the music, just like a radio
I got the music, streaming from my soul
And it's stronger than before

Can you hear it? Can you hear the music?
I got the music back inside of me
Can you hear it? Can you hear the music?
I got the music back inside of me" Just like how I remember, there's a rap, which Flynn always slayed. Even at twelve, she was the queen of speed-rapping, and as she's grown in the last four years, her skills on the mic have only grown. Plus, she's killer on most of the brass instruments, regardless of their (sometimes immense) size.

"Yeah, we got the music
Back inside, let's do this
Back like it's exclusive, wavy like a cruise ship
Look at Julie go, she all in the zone
Headlining this show, mic drop and we go ah
Boom cat, boom, boom, cat
That's the sound that you get with a marching band like
Ay, let me hear the drumline like ay, that baseline cray'
This one is ridiculous, woah
No sir, they can't handle this, no
We on top of the world, never look down
We got the melody back, can't stop now
