overthinker

i didn't know i was overthinking

the light inside me dimmed

my door of hope closed

i was trapped in the darkness

negative thoughts filled my mind, body, and soul

everything i saw was sadness

everything i felt was remorse

tears always fell that i became numb

numb but still hurting

hurting deep from within

i didn't know i was overthinking
