Enchanted (A Collection of Poetry)

the dreams of two girls

i wanted to be a princess

but i realized i will never be

for a princess sleeps and rises early

i can never do both

princesses act with

grace and sophistication

i'm sure enough that i'm not graceful

and is absolutely not sophisticated

we have different lives

yet both of us

have one thing in common

we want to be free

i want to ask for advice

she wants to think for herself

i want to write until dawn

she wants to travel till dusk

we don't want anyone

to control our lives

no one can stop us

from freely dreaming

we will chase our dreams

with a brave heart

of a simple girl

and a princess
