Author's note:
Hello, my lovely readers. Thank you so much for following The Fallen Widow Journey. This book has been like no other book I wrote before. You readers have been my motivation, and inspiration with your comments and feedback.
I started this book with a central character; Meh'r-Bano. But then the haveli bought so much joy, energy, anger and history that the book created more characters.
This book originally was going to be one part. However, with the introduction of various characters, I have decided to chop it up into parts to do justice to all the characters and stories to bring the essence of Jahanpur to your imaginations.
As a writer, I have an original plan. I know where the story is going. However with your feedback, your opinions and the characters, my writing takes me elsewhere. I have to listen to everything to make it work.
Please take this space to comment, criticise, celebrate and tell me what you want to see.
Who is your favourite character or characters? Why?
What do you want to see in part 2?
What did you struggle with in the book?
What could be better?
Sorry about the delay in the last few chapters. I am trying my best.
