"Van-chan?"

"Bangchan, father..."

"You can call me Chris or just Chan." He responded in English, knowing it would be easier for them to understand. He had a black facemask, but it was clear he was smiling.

Her father wasn't falling for his smile. He turned to his daughter.

"Allyson, you told me boys weren't allowed here."

Oh, yes. You can let your little girl go to the other side of the world for months and now you wonder if she has been spending time with boys...

"They are not, father. He is also a producer, we work together. He must have gotten a permission."

Well, that could have been worse.

Chan explained that he was there to let her know that they had gotten back and invite her to have dinner with the Kids. She had to refuse, having her parents with her... But a cute manager she wanted to kill with her bare hands, intercepted the conversation and got her to invite them along.

Many were occupied, so they wouldn't attend. Lucky bastards. Ally believed those schedules were bs. They were all supposed to be on tour...

"So, tell me kid, are you after any of these guys, romantically?"

Way to break the ice, mom.

Lee Know was sitting in front of her, in his right there was her father. The dancer suddenly had to clean his mouth with a napkin to cover his laugh. The sucker could understand what they thought.

Allyson straightened her dress. It was blue and soft to the touch, but it had no pockets.

"Mom, no. They are colleagues, we work for the same company."

"They are handsome though."

Minho smiled looking to the kids. Changbin, Jisung and I.N. were trying to guess whatever was going on from his face, but it wasn't working. Bangchan waited for the translation. They all had pretty fashionable street clothes.

"She said you were all handsome and asked if any of you has a girlfriend or boyfriend. I explained that we aren't allowed." Their reactions were priceless.

"I'm too young for that, ma'am." Jeongin said in the background. She wanted to squeeze his cheeks.

"Tell her thank you. And well, technically we'd have to ask for permission." The leader was flustered and blushing, but explained anyways. "But we are supposed to fully focus on our careers for the first three years at least."

"He said he is too young. Chan said thank you in the name of all of them... And told that we aren't allowed to date for the first three years. Happy?"

Ana smiled. Her father had been silent for some time now. She could tell he didn't like the food, and was spending too much time on the phone, scrolling through whatever he was. Suddenly he rised his head and locked eyes with his daughter.

"Their group has been for a while now, kid. Am I worrying in vain, or should I buy and load a shotgun?"

So he was googling them... Minho suddenly laughed and explained in a really fast Korean.

"I don't get what they are saying exactly, but thoughts are all the same for me. He can ask, he doesn't need to google... and girl, if your father knew what I know, he would have already bought that shotgun. I like him."

She nervously laughed for a moment "He just remembered a really bad joke, but I think it ain't funny translating it. If you want to know anything,  you can ask him."
