𝙱𝚞𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚕𝚒𝚎𝚜 (𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝘅 𝐑𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿)

𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 3 ~"𝕀𝕥'𝕤 ℕ𝕠𝕥 𝔽𝕦𝕟𝕟𝕪"

That night I'm sitting up in my bed hoping that Will is ok, I get up to go and see if Dustin is ok but when I open my door he is already standing in the doorway
"Couldn't sleep?" I say looking down at my younger brother
*sigh* "yeah".
Dustin and I stay up all night talking about how much we hope will is ok, wondering how Joyce and Jonathan are coping I had always been close with Jonathan, now I'm remembering all the fun times.

It was the 1st day of Will missing, a lot of people had gone looking for Will today but no kids were allowed to come and look, which I personally thought was ridiculous and so did Dustin,Lucas and Mike so that night Dustin and I hopped in my car, picked up Lucas then Mike.
We went to the woods where all the adults had gone looking earlier, we looked around for a little bit it was pouring rain which made it even harder, I told the boys only 10 more minutes.
I was standing in front of all the boys holding a torch walking deeper into the woods when someone came into few, they came closer
"That's not Will" Mike said coming closer to the front.

We took the girl back to Mikes house then we all snuck into the basement where no one else expect Mike and his friends went.
I sat on the couch with the girl trying to get her to talk or tell me her name while the boys were huddled in the corner talking about something, suddenly Mike came over and said
"Uh here these are clean you can wear them"
Handing the girl some clothes of his clothes.

She went to take her t-shirt off there
"Oh no, no sweetie don't get changed here" I say stopping her from taking her t-shirt off in front of the boys, I take her to the bathroom to get changed but when I go to close the door she stops me
"Open" is all she says
"Oh ok how's this" I say leaving the door open at least 3 inches,
I stay at the door until she's changed.

Mike makes her a little fort to stay in and we finally find out her name which is eleven, el for short, I give Dustin a comforting hug telling him to
"wait on the couch"
before heading over to el.

"Hey I'm Y/n, you don't have to say anything at the moment, but if the boys ever get to much you can always come and hang out with me or talk to me"
She nods slowly before opening her arms
"What you did to him before"
She points to Dustin, I connect the dots and figure she wants a hug so I embrace her into a nice warm hug, she feels so cold so I take off my jumper and give too her
"Here you can wear this too"
She gives a small smile and puts the jumper
"Goodnight el"
"Night y/n".
On the drive home Dustin goes
"Looks like Mike can finally move on from you"
"Haha what?" I question
"Yeah Mike had this massive crush on you but I think he likes eleven now"
"Well I never thought one of your friends would have a crush on me"
"One? One of them? They all had a crush on you at some point, Lucas got over you ages ago, Mike when we met el I'm pretty sure and will um I don't know if he still likes you or he never actually liked you"
"Oh ok well that's a bit weird but normal I guess".

I walked down to the front door of the school and pushed it open to see Steve,Nancy,Tommy,Carol and Barbra standing a bit down the hallway I try to walk past them unnoticed but it doesn't work I feel a strong hand on my upper arm
"Hey where do you think your going" Steve questions
"Uhh to my locker" I say trying to pull my arm away but it doesn't budge his grip is still firm.
"Don't worry about going to your locker get your books later"
"Oh yeah sure".

We all stand talking until the front door opens again, it's Jonathan he's carrying a bunch of posters I assume are posters of the missing Will Byers, my thoughts are interrupted by Steve saying to Tommy
"How much you betting that he killed him".
I whip my head around to find Tommy, Carol laughing well and Steve half laughing.
"Steve"
"Y/n"
"Steve it's not funny Will could be in serious danger and you're joking about it"
"Sorry but why dose it bother you?"
I elbow Steve in the side before walking of to Jonathan but for some reason Nancy follows, she beats me to him
"Hey um everyone's thinking about you" I hear Nancy say as I walk up, Jonathan nods subtly there's an awkward silence before Nancy walks away
"Hey don't listen to Steve like seriously he can be a real dick sometimes" I say trying to be comforting
"Did you wanna ditch school with me today help put posters up?" Jonathan asks
"Of course anything to help" I say pulling him into a hug, he hugs me back.

"Oh damn she really just left you for the Byers freak" Tommy says laughing
"Correction she left US for Byers" Steve says unamused, I hear them say this as I walk out the door.
