"Oh I see! You think I'm a bad girlfriend because I'm doing my job?" I say to Robin as Steve works.
"No Y/n it's just you're being like overly nice to EVERYONE who walks in that door." She says calmly.
"I'm sorry I'm nice?" I laugh "is that what you want me to say. Robin if I wasn't nice to them we would have like no customers, I'm sorry okay! I'm sorry for whatever the hell it is I've done to piss you off but you just have to remember I warmed you! I warmed you I get mad for no reasons! I warned you I'm a bitch! Okay? Is that what you wanted? An apology? I'm sorry" I say trying not to cry, it was stupid I know, crying because you're mad, crying because of your stupid decisions but I do it to often to care now.
"Y/n. I don't think your a bitch it's just-
"Okay I'm gonna finish this off for you guys because I can hear Y/n screaming out there and it's scaring people. Y/n what Robin is trying to say is that she's jealous of all those girls and misses your boobies."
"Steve!" We both yell at him.
"Robin what Y/n is trying to say is that she's sorry she doesn't hang out with you as much and every tiny thing is annoying the shit out of her but she doesn't know how to talk about those feelings because her mum was never there for her." We look at Steve in shock "we all good? Okay perfect." He leaves.

I wipe tears from my face and look at Robin.
"Do you actually miss my boobs or was he just saying that?" I laugh as I still cry a little.
"Just a little bit." Robin answers.
"Wanna ask questions with honest answers?" I ask her "that's what Steve used to do for me when I would throw my textbooks at him because I was pissed off."
"Okay" she smiles "I'll go first. Was your mum actually never there for you in those kind of situations? Like when you got mad?"
"Nope, never. Always Steve. Well since we moved to Hawkins before that it was my dog Tiny Tim, except he was a really big dog."
"Oh I see, what happened to your dog?"
"We had to sell him before we moved here, anyway my turn. Why are you jealous of those girls?" I say sitting up straight in my chair.
"Because I had finally found the most beautiful, kind girl who actually like me but then she goes flirting with-
"It's not flirting" I interrupt but she just keeps going.
"Hot cheerleaders, she flirts with hot cheerleaders and who am I? A band geek."
"You know I was a cheerleader once?"
"Oh my god really? When?"
"It was at my old school, I started in 6th grade and then continued into 7th. I didn't want to do it but all the cheerleaders seemed to be friends and I needed friends so I tried out got in. Were they nice to me? No. They said 'you're only on the team because we need someone to make us look prettier and the only way to do that is to have an ugly girl on the team.'"
"Oh my god..." Robin says quietly
"Yeah but everyone at those schools were bitches anyway, your turn to ask the question." I say brushing off the thought of those horrible girls.
"Okay hmm, why are you overly nice to the customers?"
"Oh my god I hate it! I just put on this voice when serving someone as I try not to say 'just take the movie and go! I don't actually care about what's going on in your life because it's probably better than mine!"
Robin laughs.
"Ugh it's so annoying! It brings me back to 6th grade school camp, I was school captain for some weird reason, the teachers chose not the students. Anyway, we were on school camp and the leaders (the 4 school captains) had this task, we were given a personality to put on that was completely different to us, there was don't talk, be really negative or be positive. I got be positive! The principal gave that to me! I had to be positive for 1 and half hours Robin! It was torture!"
Robin cracks up laughing and so do I.

We continue to do this until it's Robins shift.
"You never told me about those girls." Steve says as he comes in from his shift.
"What? Who?"
"The cheerleaders"
"Oh" I pause "did you hear that?" I say looking shocked that Steve could hear what we where saying.
"You're loud Y/n, woulda thought you'd know that by now." He laughs and I laugh along with him.
"Who do you think I learned to be loud from Steve?"
"Haha, very funny. Anyway why didn't you tell me?"
"I liked the opportunity of having a new start? If nobody knew I used to be a cheerleader I would be forced to do it again. Plus those girls did some pretty messed up shit."
"Oh" Steve looks concerned.
"Steve it's fine, everyone does messed up shit." I say looking at him with a look of 'none of it even matters anymore.'
"Okay, okay." He says getting the message
"Yeah, okay." I say nodding.

Funny/intense what more do you need? I'm kinda feeling like I've pissed you all of by starting this season with an argument. Tell me if I'm right, pls? Also sorry it took so long to update x
