𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 13 ~ "𝕄𝔸𝕏!"

!Rather long Chapter!
We were at the junkyard for at least 5minutes when we hear a voice say
"I said medium well" we turn to see Lucas and Max
"MAX!" I exclaim
"Y/N!" She runs up to hug me
"Man has it been hard hanging out with stalker and being told stupid lies about an upside down place"
"Hate to break it to you but those so called lies are true".
"Wait how do you two know each other?" Lucas asks
"Oh please I met y/n before I met you guys, I met her at the arcade and
y/n what are you doing here?"
"Oh I'm Dustin's older sister" I say
"Really ok that was unexpected"
"Ok now that we've had our little reunion can we get to work" Steve says
"Sure" We say in usion

"Soo you and Steve huh?" Max questions as we carry a piece of metal over to the old school bus.
"No no! Uh can you keep a secret it's like a serious secret" I say leaning the piece of metal against the bus
"Yeah of course also your like my sister figure so if you need me to keep a secret I'll keep it"
"Aww thank you max now come on I'll tell you behind the bus"
"Ok what is it" Max asks once we're behind the bus
"Uh ok so I haven't told this to anyone yet so um I like girls" I quietly blurt out
"Ohhhh ok that's cool are you dating anyone?"
"No but there's this**
"Come on the bus is almost finished we need your help" Steve says completely oblivious to what we were just talking about
"Yeah ok coming" I say.

The bus was finished, we were all waiting inside it now, Steve flicking his lighter, me making a spear using my knife and a stick I found, Lucas sitting on the roof of the bus and the other 2 sitting in silence.
Breaking the silence Max asks
"So you two actually fought one of these things before"
"Yeah" I say
"And your sure it wasn't a bear?"
"Stop being stupid ok of course it wasn't a bear, if you don't believe us then why are you here" Dustin says rudely I didn't like this side of Dustin
"Jeez someone's cranky past your bedtime?" Max says climbing up the ladder to Lucas.

I spot Steve winking at Dustin
"What the hell Steve, that's not gonna help Dustin get a girlfriend or even teach him a single thing in life, it'll only get him screwed**
"By them" Steve cuts me off
"What? No! What I was gonna say is that he'll get screwed over by them like Nancy did to you so stop giving him shity advice unless you want him to end up like 11th grade Steve Harrington".
Steve stayed quite so did Dustin
"That's what I thought".

We soon hear growling
"Lucas how's it going up there?" I ask
"Hold on oh shit 3:00"
"If your ass dies I'm gonna have no one to talk to so don't die" I say looking at Steve
"Great pep talk y/n" Steve says while walking out the door of the bus.
Me and Dustin sit beside each other looking out the window
"What's he doing?" Max asks
"Expanding the menu" I say still keeping my eyes on Steve
"He's insane" Max says
"He's awesome" Dustin says.

I feel so bad Steve is out there fighting those things in his own and I'm in here, I was snapped out if my thoughts by Lucas going
"Steve look out"
"Yeah I'm a little busy here"
"STEVE 10:00 10:00" Lucas yells, Steve turns around just in time to hit the demogoron thing, he then runs into the bus.
"You scared the absolute shit out of me" I say
"And here I was thinking you were fearless" Steve says pulling me into hug but it's interrupted by one of those things banging on the door, Steve puts a metal sheet up against the door
"They can't get in they can't get in" Steve kept repeating, we hear heavy footsteps along the roof and the next thing we know Max is screaming at the top of her lungs.

Steve runs forward to the hatch in the roof with a demogorgon looking down on him
"You want a piece if this huh come on" Steve says put then probably one of the weirdest things happens they all runway
"What happened?" Lucas asks
"Steve scare em off" Dustin suggests
"No they're going somewhere" I say walking towards the door.

We were all walking back along the train tracks when Max comes up to me
"So yeah are you dating anyone?" She whispered
"No but there this girl I don't even know here name she's got bright blue eyes, hair that goes to her shoulders, she's taller than me" I say making sure to keep whispering.
"How do you know who she is if you've never met her?"
"Well I ran into her with Steve last year and I kinda just stared at her for awhile before Steve called me away"
"Ah what a classic love story!" Max yells forgetting about the others, I quickly cover mouth but still all the boys look back.
"Whats she talking about, are you dating someone and didn't tell me?" Steve questions
"No no uh I was just telling her about a book I was I reading that's all" I say removing my hand from Maxes mouth
"Ok" Steve says stretching the k out
