"This is a marvellous idea isn't it?!" Mad Eye Moody's voice filled the kitchen of the newly spell-protected Potter Mansion, "Let's invite another ruddy Death Eater into the Order a day after they stormed us at a wedding!"
"Calm it, Mad Eye," Sirius growled and Eloise put a hand on Theodore Nott's shoulder as the boy looked down at his hands,
"Do you think someone with an undying loyalty to Voldemort would hex Bellatrix Lestrange, Moody? Let's think about this logically." Eloise said much more calmly than her husband, "As far as I'm concerned, this is a young boy with the same people coming after him as we do." she had a note of finality in her voice that was hard to argue with,
"He could provide us with some good insider information, you have to admit." Remus said and Moody sighed,
"Not much if he has to hide out here for the rest of his adolescence."
"I can go back." Theo spoke quietly and everyone turned to look at him,
"No you absolutely cannot, young man." Eloise crossed her arms,
"I can tell The Da- Voldemort," he swallowed, "That it was a moment of weakness."
"He's not the most understanding man in the world, kiddo." James smiled grimly, "I don't think a simple 'sorry' will suffice."
"I have to try," Theo looked at the adults around him, still marvelling that they had taken him in without a second thought...well, most of them,
"You'll be killed on sight." Moody grumbled before limping out of the room and Theo deflated.
"Just stay safe here, Theo," Eloise smiled at him, "I'm sure anything you can tell us will be helpful."
As Theo nodded, a pale blue light bounded into the room and the adults all stiffened at the sight of the stag patronus.
"We're safe." Harry's voice rang through the room and Thalia and Eloise both clutched their hands to their chests in relief as James sat down. "We're in a secure location but contact will be rare to say the least," Harry's voice quietened as the sound of someone playing the piano softly could be heard, "I love you guys and I'll see you soon." With that, the stag vanished into a wisp of smoke and Eloise looked at her brother, trying to look as reassuring as she could.
"Right then," she clasped her hands together, "Since Voldemort has it out for both of us, we're going to be spending a lot of time together, Theo." she grinned,
"Theo, can I speak to you?" Mia had appeared at the door and Theo practically leapt up to follow her out of the room,
"A lot of time..." Eloise echoed and Sirius snorted, wrapping an arm around her,
