"And you definitely know what the second task is?"

"Yes, Mia! Now I just need to figure out how to pull it off." Harry pressed his palm against his forehead as he continued to leaf through the book on the table. He was sat with Mia, Ron and Hermione in the library the night before the Second Task.

"Harry, it's getting late. Why don't you take these books to bed?" Hermione suggested as Ron yawned loudly.

"Yeah...sure." Harry nodded distractedly and stood up, collecting as many books in his hands as he could whilst still reading the page of the Charms textbook. Mia and Hermione shared an exasperated look as Harry stumbled over his chair leg and dropped a number of books on the floor. Mia rolled her eyes a grabbed the pile of books from Harry's hands, immediately pressing them into Ron's chest, while Hermione picked the ones of the floor. Harry was completely unaware of his surroundings as he began to walk out of the library, eyes still trained on the page in a frantic search for anything that could aid him in the challenge to come. Mia watched after him worriedly and Hermione placed a gentle hand on her shoulder,

"He's going to be fine, Mi."

"I just wish he was smarter."

Harry woke before the sun on the day of the Second Task and decided that he wanted to talk to his family. Ron and Hermione were helpful of course but with his Dad's (mostly) well-times jokes that can cheer him up; his Aunt's words of wisdom that let him see the logical side of things; his Uncle's positivity that was annoyingly contagious; Alfie's uncanny ability to make anyone feel like he understood them; and Mia's soothing touch that could calm the angriest of people...why wouldn't Harry want to talk to them?

He decided to seek Mia first, being closest to her than anyone, and - after waiting a while so it was a suitable time to be awake - he walked quietly up the stairs to Ravenclaw Tower. He knew he'd struggle with the riddle but stood in front of the portrait nonetheless. However, Harry never got the chance to embarrass himself by not being able to enter as the door swung open and out hopped Cho Chang. Harry's cheeks flushed as she noticed him and sent him a smile,

"Hi, Harry."

"H-Hi, Cho." He raises his hand in an awkward wave, "You haven't seen Mia, h-have you?" He asked, and Cho frowned,
"I haven't actually, she didn't come back to the Common Room last night."

Harry's head snapped up to the pretty girl in front of him and any nerves disappeared at the prospect of Mia being missing,

"What do you mean she didn't come back? She went straight to bed after we left the library at 9."

"Well I was awake past then and she never came back." Cho's frown deepened and Harry ran a hand hastily through his hair.

"And you're sure?" Harry repeated and Cho nodded,
