Eloise and Sirius clutched their children to their chests as they stood in the Hogwarts courtyard. Students stared at their dishevelled appearances but none of them cared as they said their goodbyes. Eloise and Sirius had to return to Grimmauld Place but the school year wasn't quite over yet. At least Dumbledore had returned.

"We'll be home soon." Alfie smiled at his mum and Eloise pressed a kiss to his head,

"Try not to get in any more trouble until then please, Alfie." Eloise said sternly and Alfie gasped loudly,

"I just protected my sister from Death Eaters and held my own in a battle and you're more worried about telling me not to get a detention than congratulating me on my marvellous efforts?"

"Yes." Eloise said simply and Alfie chuckled, followed by Mia and Sirius who were eavesdropping as they hugged,

"No promises, Mummy." he gave her a charming grin and the woman rolled her eyes,

"You're a skilled wizard, Alfie. I think you should consider going into my line of work as an Auror." her voice was filled with pride and Alfie smiled genuinely,

"Thank you, Mummy. But I think I want to work in Fred and George's joke shop."

"Please tell me that was a joke." Sirius groaned and Alfie sent his dad a smirk,

"The money's good apparently and I can put my brilliant mind and creative ideas to good use." he shrugged and Eloise smiled softly at him,

"And you want to bring a bit of light and laughter into this dark world?" she guessed and Alfie raised his eyebrows, evidently surprised. Eloise chuckled and pulled him down for another hug, "I know my boy." she whispered and Alfie smiled as he was comforted with the smell of home,

"I want to work with the Order as well though." he said determinedly and Eloise pulled back, frowning,

"Alf, I'm not-"

"I'm seventeen, Mum." he interrupted and Eloise could tell by his eyes that he wasn't going to back down - she had seen that look before...in the mirror. "I'm not going to stand by and watch whilst everyone I love fights for a cause that I believe in! Just like I couldn't today. And I helped! I can help and I can fight and you're not changing my mind." he looked directly and his mother and she was filled with pride,

"I wouldn't dare." she tenderly touched his cheek and Alfie faltered but soon smiled, looking over to his dad who had the same proud look on his face.

"And I-"

"Absolutely not, Mia."

Mia wasn't looking for him. She wasn't walking around the grounds in the places she knew he was prone to visit because of him. She wasn't seeking out her Slytherin friends in the hopes that they'll invite her into their common room. Fucking fine. She was. Mia was seeking out Theodore Nott. She needed to see him. She had spoken to Dean and Ginny. They were together now. She spoke privately with Dean and he apologised profusely but she told him she didn't care. She didn't really - not anymore. She was upset with Ginny a little bit still. Girl code and everything. But if Ginny really liked Dean then Mia didn't really want to be the bitch that stood in the way of that. The girl wasn't even sure if Ginny did really like Dean. Or vice versa. She was sure it wouldn't last long. Whether that meant she would get back together with Dean, she didn't know. But at that moment she didn't care. She wanted to find Theo.

Mia was sat on the floor in the dungeons outside of the Slytherin Common Room when the door opened. She had been there for 2 hours so she didn't look up, having heard the door open at least thirty times. She had her eyes aimed at the ceiling as her head rested on the stone wall behind her. It was only when she smelled his cologne that she looked over. He looked like he had just woken up, despite it being three in the afternoon. His blonde hair was messy and his t-shirt was twisted slightly, revealing a strip of tanned skin just above the waistband of his joggers. Mia didn't stand up. She didn't launch into an explanation of her being there. She just smiled and patted the ground next to her. Theo raised an eyebrow and smirked as he took a seat beside her.

"Obsessed with me now are you, Duchess?" he rested his arms on his raised knees and rested his head on his shoulder as he observed her.

"Terribly." Mia replied, her lips curling as she looked back at him. "I did want to say thank you though."

"Don't." Theo held up a hand and shook his head, "I was the reason you were in there in the first place."

"I didn't realise you were Umbridge." Mia observed her nails and Theo scoffed, "Pink's not your colour." she nudged him with her side and he smiled at her, "Did they suspect anything?" she asked seriously and Nott rolled his eyes,

"No. They still think I'm a cold-blooded, blood-supremacist dickhead." he looked down at the ground, his blonde hair falling into his eyes. Mia turned slightly and brushed his hair back,

"I don't." she whispered and Theo looked up at her. His eyes bore into hers and an unspoken message was transferred between the blue. Theo leant forward and Mia's heart began to pound in her ears. Butterflies swarmed in her stomach and she was reminded of Lia. She had explained to her friend that her relationship with Nott was fake but Lia had merely given her a look,

"You may have believed that, Mimi. But I don't think anything you feel towards him is fake." she had told her and Mia had frozen. Lia was right. The girl made Mia promise to confess her feelings to Nott. So while Mia went to the dungeons, Lia went to find Neville, it was hard for her to do but Lia knew she had to tell him that she didn't feel the same way about him as he did for her. Lia also secretly had a feeling Neville liked Luna, not her, and was going to tell him so. Mia's thought process soon travelled away from Lia when she noted how close Theo was to her face. Her breath hitched and her eyes fluttered shut as their lips came into contact.

Unlike the first time they kissed - when they announced their 'relationship', every cell in Mia's body felt like it was on fire. A beautiful kind of fire that warmed every inch of her soul. Her hands went to Theo's hair as his closed around her waist. He deepened the kiss and Mia felt like she was going to implode. It was passionate and flame-filled. It was like nothing she had ever felt before. With Dean they shared sweet kisses that made her heart skip but with Theo it was needy and rushed. They were like people in the desert and the kiss was their only salvation. Their hands clawed at each other and they were breathless when they finally pulled away from each other. They kept their foreheads touching as they gathered themselves. Mia was in slight shock. Her lips were tingling from the kiss and her hips were burning from where Theo's hands were. The boy pulled back slightly and smirked at Mia's flushed cheeks. He traced her bottom lip with his thumb and pulled on it slightly,

"I don't think that was in the fake relationship contract." his voice was low and sultry and Mia bit her lip,

"Maybe it's not a fake relationship anymore." she shrugged and Theo raised an eyebrow,

"Are you asking me to be your boyfriend, Duchess?" he grinned and Mia grabbed the front of his shirt, pulling him down and kissing him strongly,

"Yes." she pecked his lips again, "And I suggest you answer whilst your lips are still free."

"Cheeky." Theo joked and tucked a strand of her chocolate-brown hair behind her ear, "How can I say no to that?"

"You can't."

"Well-"

"Shut up and kiss me, Theodore Nott."

"I'd be happy to, Mia Black."
