Today had been a long day. I ran around all day doing some errand for Morax, no, it's Zhongli now, isn't it. Never mind that. I'm exhausted.

Walking along the cliffs northeast of the harbor, I cleared out a few hilichurl camps along the way to Wangshu Inn. Just as I decided to head home, I heard a soft tune, as if it was brought by the wind.

Curious, I decided to follow it. The closer I got, the louder the melody, the more I felt the violent energies inside me calm down.

How could something like a simple melody calm thousands of years worth of karmic debt?

 It was mysterious yet calming.

I traveled on the trees so that I wouldn't be noticed, and after 10 minutes of running, I finally found the origin of the mysterious melody.

On the high cliff stood a young man, quite young from the looks of it. I saw his dark green hair, but I couldn't see his eye's as his back was turned to me. On his head he wore a green hat adorned with a cecilia and a green cape was draped over his back. In his hand, he held a lyre, similarly adorned by cecilia flowers.

Those flowers are from Mondstadt if I'm not wrong. Is he from there too?

He stood on the very edge of the cliff as he played his lyre, the calming melody flowing through the wind.

'Should I pull him back a little?' I thought for a moment but immediately threw the thought out of my head.

Since when did I involve myself with the lives of mortals?

Still, I stayed to listen to his playing, feeling better than I ever felt in the past two thousand years.

I only snapped out of my daze when I heard the lyre stop. Looking up, I saw that the moon, which was barely in sight when I arrived, had already risen to the center of the sky.

When did it get so late?

Looking at the little guy, I saw him turn around. He put his lyre on the ground and started to stretch.

I suppose it was quite late for a mortal. He should be going home by now.

To my surprise, however, instead of going home, he took a step backward. One step, two steps, three steps, and then...

 "Don't!"

He stretched his arms out as if they were wings, and leaned backward, falling straight down from the cliff, straight into the sea.
