Kokomi's POV
"What do you mean, Kokomi?"
They both looked at me bewildered.
"If he goes there alone, he might die."
"Die?!"
We really don't have time for this.
"We need to go."
"I'll go first!" Thoma offered as he rushed out the door.
"Let's go."
We need to get there as fast as we-
"Miss Kokomi! We've got trouble!" Thoma shouted from outside.
What now?
When we got outside, we finally saw what he meant by trouble. The whole shrine was surrounded by specters radiating a dark aura.
"Where did so many of them come from?"
"We can't go anywhere like this!"
Why did this happen now?! Couldn't they have come a little later?
"Yoimiya."
This might be the only option now.
"Yes?"
"Can you shoot up a firework?"
"Why would I- Oh I got it! I'm on it!"
She drew her bow and an arrow shot up, exploding into a bunch of small fireworks.
"Now we can only wait and see whether they actually notice it through this fog."
Ayaka's POV
This past day had been a mess.
First, the thing that happened at the estate, though brother doesn't seem to want to talk about it. Next was that man, Xiao, whose identity is far more complicated than you would think.

"Ayaka, make sure to only freeze their legs! We don't want to kill them!"
