"Can you tell us where you all came from? How did you all suddenly spring into existence 2 years ago?"

Aizawa could tell that he had asked the right question by the way that Ayumu's eyes suddenly glowed with a neon green gleam. He, however, was unsure if that was a good thing or not.

"You mean 'Where did you people come from?'", Ayumu corrected him. "Don't want people to be taking advantage of you now, do you. I could have just answered yes or no and called it a day."

Aizawa was suspicious of how nice Ayumu was, not taking advantage of loopholes or their verbal errors. Then he realized that the boy didn't care. He was already in an advantageous spot and could afford to be magnanimous. Besides, if the heroes were forced to comply with his earlier requests, the information that they gained from the questions would be useless anyways. For their purposes, information was only useful if it could be spread and utilized.

Ayumu finally answered his question after being joined by the rest of his group who had apparently gotten bored of standing on the side.

"We come from a far far land that...functions a bit differently from here. It's a land with a bunch of mobs, er..., new species? And apparently they can breed between each other and produce much more sentient beings."

Aizawa noticed that Ayumu gave Makoto a quick glance before continuing.

"There exists a...well...I guess that you could say that we come from a land that functions like a game. Stuff works differently. There's some ... legends, let's say, of an item that can bring a person back from the dead as long as it's held at the time of the death. And of a portal that leads to literal hell, although I've never actually been there myself."

There were giggles and Ayumu snapped at them, "Okay, have any of you been there?"

There were hurried "No"'s.

Takeshi added in a flat tone, "I swear that I have never been to the Nether in my entire life. I have never seen a wither skeleton. I have never spawned a wither before. The L'manburg crater was not my doing."

Aizawa glanced at Takeshi and flinched. His eyes were now a dull brick red with white sclera and it chilled Aizawa to the core that he almost looked bored after nearly killing 5 of Japan's top heroes by himself. His words as well... What was a wither? What was the Nether? And how come all of them were laughing like it was some big joke that they had wanted to share since forever? He felt as if he had been led into a trap set by the teen in the green hoodie. One simple question had led to an incomprehensible answer and multiple more questions.

"Ay Dream? Did you do it?", Joji suddenly asked Ayumu. "It's been that time for a few minutes already."

Ayumu gave a small nod and everyone gave a whoop and promptly took off their masks, except for Makoto, Ayumu, and Takeshi.

"What is all this about?", Midnight said out loud.

Ayumu pounced on them immediately. "Will that be your third question?"

Aizawa looked at the other heroes and they collectively agreed. "Yes."

Kaji spoke suddenly, cutting in front of Ayumu. "Dream just f*cking 4-D-chess-ed you all."

Ayumu seemed annoyed but only shrugged. "Eh. I wouldn't say that." He turned to Aizawa to answer the question. "We just did a face reveal. Uploaded it a few minutes ago."

Aizawa was confused, then remembered the identity of the 9 teens. They were all gaming streamers on YouTube. But what was the significance of the face reveal?

"What is the significance of the face reveal?", he asked.

"That's four questions", Ayumu pointed out then shrugged. "But I'll be nice and give that to you guys." He cleared his throat and a carefully-crafted sheepish look appeared on his face. "The face reveal wasn't the important part, but our viewers are pretty supportive of us. We told them a little something, and who knows. If another something happens, then they might do that something. Actually, would you mind watching that video for us?"

"No Ayumu", Takeshi cut in. "The dude has no clout. Ask Midnight to leave a comment."

Kisuke chuckled. "Yeah. We'll be in the 10 millions within a few days."

Ayumu laughed along with them, but Aizawa had a feeling that he had meant something else entirely. What could it be? Then a possibility hit him.

"Can your friend's mind control-?"

The boy in green gave him a bored look, causing Aizawa to freeze mid-sentence. "Now you're just getting greedy." He raised his axe.

Ah, Aizawa thought. They never were going to leave us alive in the first place. He closed his eyes, and there was a clang but the blow never came. Aizawa opened his eyes and his chains had been slashed open. Truthfully, he could have broken free from them much earlier, but he didn't dare. As the heroes rose and massaged their sore wrists, Ayumu cast them one final glance.

"Remember, heroes. Nothing ever happened here. The test ended early because ... well, let's just say that our powers got a little out of control, shall we?"

Aizawa kept himself back from growling. Were these really just 16 year olds?
