Recap of a couple chapters ago: the MHA gang arrived in Nunavut on a secret mission (details not disclosed to readers yet) disguised as a field trip and no government individuals suspect anything because I said so.

[Todoroki POV]

Todoroki Shoto wasn't affected by the cold, so while everyone else was bundled in a dozen winter coats, he wore only a raincoat over his blue sweater tucked in a pair of black snow pants.

The "Miracle Doctor" was even more impressive, wearing only a grey t-shirt, and sweatpants as he peered at them from within an igloo. A toque on his bald head, he extended a gloved hand to welcome them inside.

"Come on in, kids", Ms. Guide translated for them after the "Miracle Doctor" said something in rough-sounding English.

The "Miracle Doctor" had arrived a day after their arrival, but they were just meeting him now.

As the class headed inside, Todoroki noticed the "Miracle Doctor"'s dark grey eyes. They were expectant. He gulped, slightly worried that they had been found out before ducking his head and heading inside.

The inside of the igloo was surprisingly warm and soon, he had to take off his sweater. Everyone followed suit except for Mr. Aizawa who only snuggled deeper into his scarf. The igloo was surprisingly big inside.

"I heard that the igloos here were made with a snow-related quirk", Todoroki heard Midoriya say excitedly. "That's why they can be of such a large size."

There were roughly thirty pillows arranged in a circle atop a furry, brown carpet. Todoroki sat down beside Deku, a couple empty pillows to his right. After a while, he was surprised to see the "Miracle Doctor" sit beside him.

His eyes were a deep gray and as for his hair.... He had no hair. He smiled, bringing out his wrinkles around his mouth and eyes. Todoroki smiled back awkwardly before quickly looking away.

"Hello", Ms. Guide translated. "My name is Nate Westwood. You all probably know me as the "Miracle Doctor". My quirk isn't exactly a miracle but-." Ms. Guide coughed and said something in English.

Todoroki wasn't good at English but he caught the words "the people up top like to" and then a word that he didn't recognize. It sounded like "iig-ZAju-rae-to", then "da-mo ba-sta" . Ms. Guide said something about "no swearing" before returning to translating.

"So, I heard that you guys came here to study quirks across the globe. Are you kids highschool students from Japan? Studying quirks and social justice, what's it?"

Everyone replied, "Yes."

"Okay then. How about we start with a little introduction so that I can get to know you all." He coughed. "Let's start with...". The "Miracle Doctor"'s eyes scanned around the circle before gesturing to Todoroki. "And we'll go this way, clockwise."

"Uh." He pulled out his mental notes and began reciting in English, standing up as a form of respect. "My name is Mark. I am fifteen years old this year. I am attending Musutafu Highschool. My quirk is called Ice Cube. Uh, something interesting about me is I like cold soba. Soba is Japanese noodles in sauce. It is very good."

Todoroki quickly bowed and took a seat while everyone politely clapped.

And the introductions continued until everyone around the circle had gone, leaving only the "Miracle Doctor", Nate, himself. Todoroki became attentive. Mr. Aizawa had mentioned before their plane trip that Nate had lost his wife in the "Ghost Puppeteer Mass Killing incident" and that ever since then, he had been committing to a search across the globe for the mastermind behind the incident, although the officials said that such a mastermind might not exist. Todoroki hadn't been involved in the incident himself but he had heard about it from his family and from the news. It had been scary, with the deaths totaling around two hundred, but official investigations had died down after a year of no results.
