soon dream returned back to the living room where he took a seat in one of the chairs
he realized he better get back home soon
he thought about sneaking out before the others woke up and just saying goodbye through a text message but decided not to because he didnt want them to worry
instead, he scrolled through twitter some more, communicating with friends and seeing what new shows were coming on
finally, after what seemed like hours of waiting, sapnap woke up
accidentally waking karl up in the process
"why'd you have to wake me ???" karl exaggerated
sapnap apologized quickly, before sitting up with karl still laying down comfortably beside him.
dream quietly admired the two, remembering how much he enjoys being with them
why can't i just talk to them about this?
it's all so confusing
if they actually don't like me- like that... what's the worst that could happen?? it would be awkward of course but so what? at least it would be done and over with.
"dream?" sapnap questioned, knocking dream back into reality
"oh shit- yeah?"
"you okay?" sapnap whispered, not wanting to make a big deal if he was genuinely fine and just thinking for a moment
"i'm good, just thinking."
"guys can we go do something today?" karl asked, not realizing that the others were already having a conversation, considering he was on his phone.
"yeah, what do you think we should do?" dream asked
sapnap silently agreed, not having anything to add
"mm.. a picnic?" karl suggested, hoping the others didn't think it was a weird suggestion.
"uhh sure?" sapnap said. he had never been on a picnic. he thought they were weird but didn't want karl to be upset
"yeah!!" dream yelled, cutting sapnap off from what he was saying, he loves picnics but he hasn't been on one in years
"i mean- obviously if you both want to, that was kind of a weird suggestion" karl muttered
of course karl wanted to, he's the one who brought it up.
karl could tell dream wanted to, his face lit up.
but sapnap?
he seemed confused and like he didn't want to.
