and finally, tears started flooding karl's eyes.
"i don't understand what just happened??" karl muttered
"hey, hey it's okay. sit down" dream assured
they both sat on the couch in silence
after a while of nothing, karl spoke up
"what if he hates me?"
"he doesn't hate you. he's just upset." dream said
"are you sure?"
"positive."
"can we go on a walk?" karl asked
"of course."
the two grabbed their shoes and left the house.
after hours of talking, crying, laughs, and jokes. they returned to karl's house.
"thank you so much for walking with me, dream. this was an amazing time." karl said, concluding his sentence with a hug.
dream hugged back and spoke up
"of course, are you okay now?" dream asked
"yeah.. i miss him but maybe it was supposed to happen? it's just us two now" karl said with a smile and released himself from the hug
"do you like it better like this?"
"i think i do.." karl said
"are you tired? its dark we should go inside"
karl nodded and grabbed dreams hand before heading inside
they went up the stairs and entered karls bedroom
instead of getting on the bed, karl closed the door, turned dream towards him and looked up into his eyes
"woah" dream said, getting caught off guard
"can i kiss you?"
"yea-" dream stuttered
karl kissed him before he could finish what he was saying
they kissed for a bit, not too long, but enough
karl pulled back, "lets get to bed"
they both got into the bed and cuddled until they both fell asleep.
