Percy watched as Hazel took Frank into her flashback. He idly wondered what it was that she was showing him. Maybe it was her death, or her judgment that led to her years in the Fields of Asphodel.

He looked up from the teenagers and focused on the horizon. The sun was setting. Another day until the would be invasion of Camp Jupiter. At least, until he annihilated the army. Though, maybe it was a mistake to leave Polybotes alive. If he could recover from licking his wounds and get a replacement army... Well, the results would not be in his favor.

Maybe it wouldn't hurt to get some insurance. He knew a place where he could get some backup, if he played his cards correctly. He turned the steering wheel a little bit, setting course for Seattle.

He took his hands off of the steering wheel and watched as his creation dipped below the horizon. The sky darkened and the stars twinkled in the black, like white paint on a black canvas.

Each white dot, no matter how small, was his creation. Each one forged in the palm of his hands, made from the Demiurge energy of his brother.

Percy opened his palm and stared at it. He felt the air around it and moved it into his palm. He closed his fist, tightening it. Light glowed from the cracks in between his palm and fingers, illuminating his hand.

He opened his hand and a miniature star floated a few centimeters off of his palm. The power of the sun, in the palm of his hand. Something even Doc Ock's machine couldn't do.

     He extinguished the flame.

He was the second most powerful being in the universe, yet he didn't know what to do with his power. He got into the God business, creating a whole universe, yet it only filled him with joy for a short while. His family was the best part of the whole thing, so why live in isolation when they could just live here.

Maybe he could pull a page out of his own book and start another club. It had gone well enough last time. If Zoë and Aurora would go for it.

It wasn't long before his thoughts consumed him, and he found himself in the past, much like Hazel and Frank.

LINE BREAK

The joy Percy had felt when his dad shared the news at the vow renewal was unmatched. Their goal that they had been wanting for so long had been accomplished. They had a whole new universe to raise their child.

Right after the reception, and everyone had left, Percy and Zoë took to creating a nursery. They weren't going to raise their child like how they were raised. There will be no "You have a rock, sharpen it with another rock" type bullshit.

They painted the walls, pictures of angels flying and singing. There was Ophanim, flaming like the stars in the sky. And, just for shits and giggles, there was one rolling down a hill.

A crib sat next to a portrait of Raphael, with his peacock feathered wings spread out behind him. A mobile, with different demons sat above the crib.

As the couple looked at their hard work, they couldn't help but feel ready for their child.

LINE BREAK

Percy shook himself out of the past. He focused on the land in front of him. The yacht had entered a strait, and a city peeked up on the horizon. They were close to Seattle.

It was a couple of minutes later that Hazel and Frank awoke from the blackout.

"Welcome back to the land of the living." Percy said as he walked out onto the deck. He passed the demigods and placed his hands on the railing. He faced the upcoming city.
