Zoya immediately covered her ears and started to shake uncontrollably, upon hearing the gunshots.
"Chalo Zoya!" (Let's go Zoya!) Aadil said and grabbed her hand tightly, running away with her.
They kept running, when a lifeless body covered in blood fell infront of Zoya, making her stop dead in her tracks and scream, with tears streaming down her face.
Aadil immediately put his hand over her mouth, muffing her screams, he saw a truck and quickly took her with him behind the truck, hiding away from the goons, he stood infront of her and she was leaned against the truck.
"Zoya main haath hatane laga hun par chupp rehna, warna woh sunn lenge." (Zoya I'm removing my hand but stay quiet, otherwise they'll hear us.) He said sternly and slowly removed his hand from her mouth.
"Aadil, y-yeh sab k-kya ho r-raha hai? W-woh kyun s-sab ko maar r-rahe hain?M-mujhe bohot d-darr lag r-raha hai." (Aadil, w-what is happening? W-why are they k-killing everyone? I-I'm scared.) She whispered in a panicked state.
"Shh Zoya, kuch nehi hone dunga tumhe, bharosa rakho mujh par, mere hote huy tumhe darne ki zaroorat nehi." (Shh Zoya, I won't let anything happen to you, trust me, you don't have to be scared when I'm here.) He reassured her and she put her head against his chest, clutching his shirt tightly with her tiny hands, she cried out.
Aadil held her tightly in his arms, gently stroking her hair, he covered her ultimately just like a shield protecting her.
He kept looking in the direction where they came from, to see if someone's coming, because he couldn't let any harm come to his innocent wife.
"Zoya meri baat sunno, hume yahan se nikalna hoga, yeh jagah safe nehi." (Zoya listen to me, we have to get out from here, this place isn't safe.) He said in a whisper.
She nodded and got out of his hold.
He took out his gun and gestured for her to stay behind him.
He looked in every direction, he didn't see anyone even the people who were running, weren't there anymore.
With one hand he grabbed her hand tightly and came out from behind the truck.
"Ab bhaagna parega, iss se pehle ke woh aadmi aa jayen." (We have to run, before those men come again.)
She nodded and they started to run, they kept running and running when a man appeared infront of them, his gun pointed at Aadil's forehead.
Zoya got shocked and started to shake uncontrollably.
