The Shape and The Vampire

Chapter 8

The next night

Linket was sleeping into she heard her phone ring as she grabs it of the bedside table and answers and says half asleep. Hello. Loomis says to her over the phone. Linket your awake. Michael just came out of surgery his second one but there not letting me and probably you see him yet. Linket says a little shocked that Michael was in surgery a second time. A second time I throught he had to only be in there once for stitches. Loomis says to her. Ill explain to you why he went back in when you get here. Linket hangs up and used her vampire speed leaving the house and going to the hospital.

At the hospital 20 minutes later

Linket gets there as Loomis was waiting for her as he says to her taking her to the waiting room. He was put in for a second time beacuse when they did an x-ray on his back after he came out from having his stitches. When they x-rayed him they found crystal shards in there with some metal seeming to be from a knife. Linket nodes understanding as she sits while he sits next to her as she says to him. My creator was trying to kill him when I wasn't there. he was trying to kill Michael in the most painful way for him. Loomis looks at her taking her hand as he noticed the leather jacket not knowing it's Michael jacket as he says to her. He will get through this don't worry. Linket nodes as a nurse calls dr Loomis over while he gose to the nurse while Linket stays seated while another nurse gives Linket some water down blood as she nodes in thanks taking it as she drinks it while Loomis comes over to her sitting next to her and says to her. He is awake but there not letting anyone see him yet. But soon. Linket nodes understanding as she says to him. I'm going to the bathroom. Loomis nodes letting her go as she left going to the bathroom.

In the bathroom

Linket sits down on the closed toilet locking the door while she then hides her face with her hands crying quitely as everything that has happened lately with the vampire king and Michael just sunk in and was getting to much for her While she starts thinking wether or not to go on her own a bit but when she thinks of that it hurt her to think of leaving him. all of a sudden she started to feel sick which is rare for a vampire as they never feel sick as she gose and throws up in the sink knowing no one else is around as all she threw up was blood which made her believe it's something she drank from while she then cleans away the blood tears and she left the bathroom going back to the waiting room.

Back in the waiting room

She sits in the seat noticing Loomis talking to some of the doctor's seeming to be throwing threats at them as it seems to her Loomis is trying to keep Michael out of the sanatarium. She sits waiting then she starts feeling dizzy as a nurse notice and come over to her and says to her. Are you alright miss star. Linket says to the nurse. I don't know I feel really dizzy. The nurse carefully feels her forehead feeling she is normal which is cold as she picks Linket up and takes her to a room and says to Linket. I'll have some doctors attend to you. Linket nodes as the nurse takes her though Michael room to another bed as his room was big enough to have a neighbour with him as he was resting with his mask on since whenever they try to take it off he would get Violent while they had his jumpsuit and shoes on a seat next to him while he is in a hospital gown. The nurse then lays Linket in a bed as she lays there while the doctors come to her attending to her while they figured out that she had been under a lot of stress lately so they presumed it was that and decided to keep an eye on her as Loomis walks Into the room seen Michael resting and Linket in a bed next to him as the doctor's tell him why Linket is in a bed. Which Loomis nodes understanding while Linket dozed off from some drugs the doctors gave her to try and calm her down from the stress she was put through.

The next night

Linket was still sleeping in the bed in the hospital with Michael sleeping next to her as when no one was paying attention he snuck into bed next to her to be close to her as he missed her while Loomis was walking by. he noticed Michael in Linket bed and decided not to disturb them since Michael hasn't seen or been near Linket as Linket wakes up a bit seen Michael next to her as she says to him a bit tired. Michael your awake. He looks at her as she puts a hand on his his cheek of the mask as he then puts his hand on her hand nuzzling a bit as she nuzzles into his chest while he holds her close as he missed her been close to him. He then noticed that she was wearing one of his leather jackets which he didn't mind while he strokes her hair watching her going back to sleep noticing she is quite tired still.

At midnight

Michael was put back in his own bed so the nurses and doctors can check to make sure the new stitches are good enough to have a bandage put around his back to protect the stitches. While Linket wakes up sitting up as some doctors gose to her making sure she is alright after her dizzy spell and stress while the make sure she is alright some doctors Starts putting bandages around Michael body starting from his lower back to his shoulders. when the doctors are done with Linket they left as she gets off the bed stretching while the doctors finish with Michael as he gets changed back into his jumpsuit and shoes while Linket gives him his jacket as he watches her putting it on over his jumpsuit. while he takes her hand putting it to his masked lips making it like he is kissing her hand making her blushes While he puts an arm around her while they left the hospital room going to the front desk.

At the front desk the outside of the hospital

Both Linket and Michael get there seen Loomis sighing them out of the hospital as Michael watches Loomis not trusting him As Michael kept Linket close as she leads him to the exit. they get outside and waits into Loomis lets them know they can go home While they wait Michael starts playing with Linket hair a bit and then puts his hands around her waist while she rest her hands on his hands and says to him. I've missed you. She rests her head against his stomach sighing a bit into Loomis came out and says to both Linket and Michael. You both can go. Linket nodes as Loomis says to Michael. Your lucky I was able to keep you out of the sanatarium this time Michael. Michael Huff's as she says to Loomis. I believe that means if he was sent there he would of broken out again. Loomis shakes his head and left feeling the death stare from Michael as Michael and Linket starts making there way back to his house as she leans into him a bit while he keeps an arm around her keeping her close.
