"Could you walk any slower?" Matt asks annoyed.
"Yes, and stop complaining you're not the one who had training yesterday and it was the hardest workout," I said as we went to my locker. "We're getting new schedules today."
"Ya, but they don't change much," Matt says leaning against the locker next to mine.
"They don't?" I ask going through my locker to get my textbook.
"No, but you'll get them in your first class."
"Great," I say and close my locker. I went to go to my classroom, but Matt begins pulling me.
"It's stuck." He says and points to his locker. I just laugh.
"Fine, I'll work my magic," I say and put my books in his arms. He looks annoyed. "26-12-08 right." He nods. I did it really slowly and it opened perfectly. "Maybe if you cleaned it, it would open up much easier." I tease.
"Bla Bla Bla, whatever. Thanks." He says and put all his and my books in my arms. I gave him a glare, but he just laughs.
"Take your stuff before I drop it," I say trying not to drop anything, but then someone runs into me.
"Sorry." A girl says, but then she recognized me. "Hey, you work at Aeropostale, don't you." She says as Matt helps me up.
"Ya," I say and she helps pick up the books.
"Thanks so much for that dress I love it, you were right it does look good on me." She says and hands me the books.
"That's my job," I say, before she walks off. "Gotta go before I'm late for class," I say and walk to my room leaving Matt slightly confused. My teacher gave us our new schedules, not much change like Matt said. While I was organizing I found a notebook of Matts.
"Hey, what's up." I hear Rosie ask.
"I accidentally grabbed one of Matts notebooks when they fell."
"Let me see." She says and grabbed the notebook. Her eyes widened.
"What?" I ask confused.
"I'll give it to him."
"Ok?" I say unsure of why she's acting weird. "Let's compare schedules," I said and looked at my new schedule.
"Ya, I've got morning Algebra great," She said sarcastically. "So we have a few of the same classes just like before."
"I'll ask Matt what his is," I say grabbing my phone.
Anna: What's your new schedule
It took a few minutes but then I got a message of his schedule. I show Rosie and then tell him the classes we have together.
"I'll give him his notebook in Algebra, then."
"Ok, see you in World Language," I say leaving to get to my world history class.
Rosie's P.O.V.
"Hey, are you missing something?" I ask, Matthew, as he sits down.
"No, why?"
"Check all your stuff," I say and point to his things. He starts looking through his things, then his face goes pale. I raised my eyebrows knowing he knows what he lost.
"She accidentally took my notebook, didn't she?" He says still pale.
"Ya." I say smiling a little.
"How much did she read." He asks a little scared.
"Don't know," I lie.
"Great." He mumbles sarcastically. I watch him take out his phone.
Matts P.O.V.
Crap, Crap, what if she panics. I grabbed my phone to try and do some damage control.
Matt: Hey, do you have my notebook?Anna: No Rosie has it, she won't let me read it though, what's it about?
Oh thank gosh. Matt: Just some stuff I vented about
Anna: Oh, how's Algebra going
Matt: It sucks, it's not fair that you're done with it.
Anna: I was advanced so it's fair.
Matt: No, it's not
Anna: Ahh you poor baby
Matt: Not funny
Anna: Kinda is
Slam. I looked up, the teacher was there. He extended his hand, I put my phone in his hand. "See me after school Mr.Matthew." I just nod my head.Lunch
"You owe me," I say as I sat down next to Anna."Why?"
"Because you were messaging me in class and I got to go and see him after school," I complain, and Rosie sits down next to Anna.
"First of all you messaged me first, and second I've also have to stay after school, so you owe me one." Fine, she won this one.
"What's up guys?" Zach asks as he sits down.
"You're in this lunch now?" I ask confused.
"Yup."
"Sweet," I say and give him a high five.
"What up girly?" He asks Anna. Those two seem to be friends which is good.
"Nothin. You?" She questions looking distant.
"Not much."
"Who is this?" Rosie asks clearing her throat.
"This is Zach, my roommate. Zach Rosie, Rosie Zach." I say distracted by Anna.
"I have to go to Mr.H for my science unit today, totally forgot. I'll see you guys later." Anna says grabbing her food and dumping it in the trash. Then she walks out the lunchroom.
"I have to go to um do some um."
"Just go," Rosie says to me. I nod and follow Anna.
"Anna whats wrong?" I ask catching up to her.
"I-I'm fine." She stutters.
"Please tell me," I plead walking closer to her.
"You owe me a favor remember?" She asks I nod my head unsure of what she's going to ask.
"Yes, but th-"
"I need to get out of school, can we go somewhere?" I was shocked. Did she just ask that question?
"Sure come on," We walked out the door and I ask, "Where do you want to go?"
"Anywhere." She says and I knew where to take her.
