♡ LILAC (2022)

LILAC is the second full album from cube entertainment female soloist, ryun released on march 4, 2022. it includes ten tracks in total and the title track lilac, along with the promotional track coin (released on february 3) being released as a pre-single and promoted on music shows. a music video for the b-side strawberry moon was also released a week after lilac's music video.

on january 9, 2022 cube entertainment announced ryun's comeback plans. the release of these plans marked the return of ryun from her three month hiatus due to mental and physical health concerns. it was announced lilac would be released in spring, along with 3 other comebacks all of which would be apart of a series called 'desires'. lilac was another highly anticipated release with hype from fans causing the album to go viral in south korea. upon the release of coin's music video, it garnered over thirty million views within 24 hours, and trended at #2 on youtube for 3 days. the album lilac sold over 975,953 copies within its first week and it became the best selling album of march 2022. lilac would go one to win song of the year at the 2023 asia artist awards, as well as best female solo at the melon music awards.
