After confessing on our each others feelings. We decided to go to the beach to unwind and have a fresh and cold air while watching the waves and also the moon and stars. It was 12PM and I was sitting on the sand near the cottages.

Yakap ko ang mga tuhod habang nakatingin sa madilim na dagat na may malakas na hampas ng alom habang hawak ang mahaba kong buhok na malakas na humahampas sa aking mukha na sumasabay sa malakas na hangin.

Umupo sa tabi ko si Alvin bago inabot
sa 'kin ang hawak na kape. Kinuha ko 'yun mula sa kamay niya. "Salamat."

"Malamig ba masyado?" Tanong niya at hinawakan ang kamay ko.

"No, not really..." Sagot ko bago hinawi ang natitirang buhok na nakaharang sa mga mata ko.

Sobrang dilim at halos kaming dalawa na lang ata ang nandito malapit sa dagat, ingay na lang din ng malakas na hampas ng alon ang aming naririnig.

"Pagkatapos natin inumin 'to uuwi na tayo, baka inaantok kana."

I nodded. "Alvin, after graduation. What's your plan?" I asked suddenly to alleviate our silence.

"Enroll to Med School and get my job and have a stable life living at kung saan man ako dalhin ng tadhana sasabay ako, that's how life goes. That's just all I have in mind." He answered.

"You?" He returned the question to me.

"After graduation I want to go back to
New York." I said before sipping on my cup. "New York was my dream destination, it was like my second home and I decided to get my job and live there."

"On my first day there I was already
in love with the places there. It's beautiful and comfortable living, studying there and feeling that I'm at peace."

I met so many people but Eleina was the only ond that lasted. We became my friends there for almost four years. I already planned to back there after graduating to get my dream job.

"You really love that city, don't you?"

"For life."

He just nodded while smiling. When we finished he drove us to their house again. Pagdating sa bahay ay mabilis madilim
na at wala ng tao sa sala baka tulog na. Naglakad papunta sa aking kwarto para magbihis na ng pantulog.

"Julie pinapatawag na ho kayo ni Ma'am Jamie," sigaw sa labas ng pinto ng isa sa mga katulong namin. Mabilis akong bumangon sa pagkakahiga sa kama
upang sigawan din siya.

"Coming!" Sagot ko habang naglalakad papuntang pinto para lumabas.

"Why we're here again?" I asked while I'm changing glances on the menu and Alvin.
I put down the menu to look all around the place.

"It's our first date." He casually said before putting down the menu so he could see me.

He brought me in the Japanese fancy restaurant in BGC. It was quiet even though we are not just the customers eating here. People here are talking casually and all you could hear are their whispers.

"So what do you like or want in their menu?" He asked when he finally decided on what he would order.

"I was just gonna order the foods that I'm familiar with. Ikaw na ang bahala sa iba." Sagot ko.
