Derek Bailey Shepherd had just gotten his learner's permit and Mia insisted on teaching him how to drive. Derek was a little hesitant with Mia teaching Bailey because she might freak him out and go "driver instructor mode" on him. She knows how to have fun, but she plays by the rules.
"Okay so we'll just be a couple hours. Everyone is ready...wait no, where's Bailey?" Mia asks
"He probably slept in, he was playing Call Of Duty all night." Ellis giggles
"Bailey let's go, I don't have all day for this. I have stuff to do!" Mia whines
"Oh yeah, you have a date, right?" Zola asks
"Date? What date? I wasn't informed of any date!" Meredith runs from the kitchen.

"Neither was I. Since when are you dating? What's his name?" Derek crossed his arms
"Let me remind you that I'm an adult. I am twenty years old and I am in college now. I have my place and I pay my bills. You guys can't tell me what to do anymore. That stage is over. We have been dating for a few months and I'm not telling you his name." She admits
"I hate when she uses logic against us. She's too smart for her own good!" Derek says
"Yes. Thank you for enlightening us, darling. When can we meet him?" Meredith smiles
"When I decide that the time is right. I don't want you guys to scare him off. He's a good guy and I like him. That's all you need to know. Bailey, get your friggin' a*s downstairs now, you've got twenty seconds!" Mia shouts and he comes running downstairs.
