Sai entered the classroom with her mind much more occupied than the bundle of books in her hands. There were no cheerful 'Hi' that she usually does while entering in the class. She quietly went to sit beside Aniket. Lecture ended on time, everyone felt unusualness in a day. It took all of them some time to realise they didn't have their usual doubt clearing session between Sai and their professor. She didn't even raise her hand to answer synthetically complex questions.
"Let's go to canteen? Sai are you coming?" Milind asked
"Haan chalo" Sai replied
"I told you guys she is unwell. Amy, check her temperature. Milind, get a glass of water" Ajinkya said, panicking
"What happen? Why are you guys behaving like that?" Sai confusingly asked
"That is what we are asking, what happen to you today? You aren't behaving like yourself." Aniket said
"Usual self? What is that? I am all fine!"
"You agreed to come to canteen in your library time! Didn't bugged Nirmala ma'am with your heavy questions" Ajinkya reasoned
"I didn't have any questions! What do think I always have doubts?!" she annoyingly replied
"Fortunately, or unfortunately you always have!" Amy teased
"You guys don't want me to come along, no? Fine . . . I will go to library!!!!" she frustrated and walked towards the main exit
"Saiiiiiii . . . Library is on the left" Aniket loudly said
"Haan I know! I am taking a longer route!" she irked and left
"Kya hua hai isko?" Amy wondered
"If you have guts go and ask!" Ajinkya sarcastically said
"Let her calm down a bit. Evening me pakadte hai. Where will she run away from us?" Amy said while everyone nodded with a laugh
Here, Sai was feeling irritated almost with everyone and everything. She even knew those innocent people around us weren't at fault it was all because of her restlessly anxious heart. She felt bad for talking rudely with her friends within few minutes she took a 'U turn' and went back to her friends.
"Three Sandwiches, Two Samosas, Four cold drink? Bus na?" Milind reassured before ordering
"One more sandwich and cold coffee for me" Sai mended in
Few words communicated through eyes and smile appeared on their faces while Sai pulled the chair.
"You know Sudesh is getting married to fourth year's Archi ma'am " Ajinkya started with daily hot news update
"Sudesh? Apni class wala?" Aniket shocked
"Haa wahi." He confirmed
"How did Archi Ma'am agreed? Ye match kaise hua?" Amy asked
"Areee, Sudesh was her senior. Technically he should be in fifth year but this is his fourth year in Second year" Ajinkya said
"Looking at his traits he will become our junior soon" Milind giggled
"But why he is getting married this soon?" Amy asked
"May be his family want to!" he guessed
"How old is he?" Aniket asked
"Hoga 26-27 ka!" Milind said
"Waise tum log kab tak karoge?" Ajinkya casually asked
"Not before completing DM in medicine" Amy replied
