Bloom was excited to see the town. The Magix Dimension was one of the most magnificent places in Stella’s opinion so Bloom had pretty high expectations since she was practically bouncing slightly in her seat on their bus ride to Downtown, eager to see what was considered cool by the magical community.
What she saw, however, was a little... disappointing. While Bloom hadn't exactly been expecting giants and unicorns roaming the streets, she was expecting the capital of Magix and the centre of the Magical Dimension to look a little less like any other city she could find on Earth. There were people milling about, stores open and packed with people, and cars clogging the streets. There were few notable differences. For instance the cars hovered above the ground instead of having wheels. But then Bloom supposed, flying broomsticks and dragons were all fairy tales they could find in books. This however was real life.
“Well, what do you think?”
Tecna looked at her expectantly as Bloom took in her surroundings.Musa noted the girl's expression. “You look disappointed,” Musa noted. Bloom looked at the girl and said, “I am a little though.”
“Well, what did you expect? Dragons, gnomes, wizards and shops full of magix wands?” Musa asked the girl and Bloom shrugged. She was expecting that. When she saw the ogre and troll on Earth, she had expected to see them roaming around Magix.
“Yes and no. I mean, it's the most enchanted city in Magix. I just thought it would look a bit different from cities on Ea—my planet,” Bloom told them quickly catching herself. The buildings and cars did look better than the buildings and cars in Gardenia but she was expecting more.
“Bloom, this is the real world. Here everything lives off its own magical energy. Magic is everywhere,” Stella informed the redhead just as a car came toward Bloom and she was immediately gets pulled out of the way by Tecna.
The driver of the car uses magic to create another parking space.
“Okay, wow.”
Stella patted the girl's shoulder. “If you want to see it, you just gotta look,” Stella told her.
“Yeah but now, let's eat.” Flora grabbed on to Bloom's arm before the five girls made their way to the food stall that was just across the street. Bloom didn't know what to order since they didn't have pizza in this realm. She didn't even know what kind of sweets they had and if it was similar to the sweets on Earth.
Flora and Musa went to buy the food while
Stella, Bloom and Tecna sat down at one of the tables in the square. Stella’s eyes caught sight of a group of teenagers who sat across from them. “Seriously?” Stella mumbled to herself which made the other girls frown.“What's wrong?” Tecna asked.
Stella gestured over at the table where the group of teenagers were seated. They were talking amongst themselves, laughing and throwing pieces of paper at each other. “They’re students from Beta College. They are so annoying, especially that girl Rose,” Stella scowled, glaring at the orange haired girl's back.
“Who is Rose?” Bloom questioned.
“The one with the ugly orange coloured hair. She hates Alfea fairies just because she wasn't able to get into Alfea. She's so petty.” Bloom glanced over at the girl. The girl wasn't even paying them any mind. She was just talking with her friends. Bloom frowned looking at Stella who still seemed annoyed. She was actually curious to know what the criteria for getting into Alfea was. She thought they'd just have to be a fairy.
