┊𖤐₊˚. ࿐ྂ。The exams were officially upon Alfea, and there wasn’t a single student in the entire school that was happy about it. For the seniors the exams started a week earlier than the other years. Just by the looks on the girls faces when they walked out of the exam hall the first day, everyone could tell how gruesome it was. Butnit was to expected since it was their last midterms. This exams would tell them if they'd be accepted into the Guardian Fairy network.
There was a lot of pressure on the senior girls.
For the second years, they started a day before the freshmen with Potionology whole the first years started with a history paper on the first dimension war. Most of it was general knowledge that anyone from the Magical Dimension knew, except for Bloom. She had to study twice as hard to even remember the names of the people who were a part of the war. But she was sure she aced that paper.
After history they had gotten three days off — they had been given an extra day to rest but the girls used it to study. The three days of studying made the girls more confident that they aced their exam; both the theory abd practical. It was then followed by Formation of Spells that was taught by Professor DuFour.
Formation of Spells all involved theory work, so it was not one of the subjects the girls had any difficulty with. They were warned that they'd be getting practical assessments for Formation of Spells in their second year. Bloom was not excited for that at all.
The following subject was Metamorphosimbiosis that was two days after Formation of Spells. Bloom was the most worried about Metamorphosimbiosis since it was the class she had struggled with the most in the beginning but she had been sure she aced the exam.
By the end of the week the girls were exhausted. The seniors had just finished their last exams that day while the first and second years still had one exam left to right. The second years had Physical Defense and Flying while the first years had Magical Reality, which luckily was taking place the following afternoon which meant the first year girls could sleep in and rest up.
They rarely had that class but from what Bloom could understand was that Magic Reality was mostly theory work. It wasn't like the other subjects where they had practical assessments. Physical Defense and Flying, Potionology and even Metamorphosimbiosis had practical assessments. Magic Reality however was a big mystery to the girl.
Professor Palladium who taught them Potionology was also the teacher for Magical Reality. And by how most of the first years were confident they aced Potionology, Bloom was sure they'd be able to ace Magic Reality as well.
Down in the Alfea Quad, four of the five friends were discussing Magic Reality, while the fifth, the redheaded fairy, stood at the wishing fountain, staring into it’s blue depths. Bloom fingered the gold coin in her hand while she stared at the fountain. She thought hard on what her wish should be.
Throwing a coin in a well and wishing for something seemed unreal but this was Magix. Anything was real.Bloom sighed, looking into the well. “Bloom! Bloom!” Stella startled Bloom. The girl dropped the coin into the well after thinking of her wish again before she turned to look back at Stella.
“Oooh, tell me,” Stella cooed, coming to join her friend on the edge of the fountain.
“What did you wish for?” Stella questioned with a smirk just as Musa, Flora and Tecna joined them.“I can't tell you,” Bloom laughed. “If I do it won't come true.”
Stella hummed. “Does it have to do with blonde hair and blue eyes?”
Bloom bit her lip, not saying anything. She hoped she wasn't blushing but by Musa’s chuckle she knew she was. “From the look on her face, I'm betting it does!”
